If anyone has a perfect bracket still after this, they deserve some type of compensation!

Luckily no one does, gotta start there. Best I saw on ESPN one person had 31 in the first round and I've seen only like 2 people who have 15/16 right now.

But while first thought might be to congratulate the people who would be perfect right now, I would fear that anyone who predicted all 48 results so far is in fact a dangerously insane human being.

I would accept their argument that they were not taking their bracket seriously if they were perfect though.

It's crazy the differences. The women lost 2.8 million. While the men's got about 800 million. Scary stuff. I'm guessing their going to find the same problems this year. I never know the answers for the difference here.

It's not crazy if you realize no one cares about women's basketball. Many colleges have $1 nights or play the women's game before or after a men's game with free or really discounted tickets. Unless you are a family member or friend, no one really cares.

The athletes may not like the differences, but they need to realize they are only getting what they have because of title 9. Until they can actually breakeven, they really should be cutting back.

I'm little confused by what your saying. But their in college. This isn't the pros. Aren't they all students? Shouldn't they treated equal.

The whole gym situation for the women's this year should of never ever happen.

The NCAA doesn't make money on any women's sports. I doubt they even breakeven. It's the same for all the other sports men or women except for football and men's basketball. Those 2 sports support the rest of college sports. College's don't lose money in their sports program for long before they have to make cuts. Title 9 says you have to spend roughly the same amount on players for both genders.

The NCAA pays the schools for playing in the tournaments, pays to put them on, etc. They lose money on everything but the top 2. So when the players complain they don't get the same treatment as the top 2 sports, they need to realize they are getting a lot more than they deserve based on the money they bring in. They would be treated like minor league baseball players riding a bus everywhere if they were treated fairly and had to breakeven.

Yes someone messed up with the weight room and they addressed it. The problem comes from people saying this isn't fair. It is actually unfair but the women are benefiting from it. They need to have some self-awareness before they try to die on this hill. If they spend more money (i.e. lose even more on women's basketball) then more women's sports will be cut entirely. Schools also are nonprofits but they could cut all sports but the ones that breakeven and put all the football and men's basketball profits back into the school for scholarships.

This isn't a gender issue, it's a money issue. If women's sports made all this money, they would spend more. You can't make people watch or care about it and if they choose to die on this hill, they are going to cause a lot of schools to look at cutting all sports. Covid really hurt the non-power 5 schools and even power 5 teams are having budget issues. The NCAA even had issues without the tournament last year, it's why this year was happening no matter what.
