I was watching the Cincinnati-DePaul game from 2000 and noticed that Cincy had 4 players of their starting 5 make the NBA at some point or get drafted (Kenyon Martin, DerMarr Johnson, Kenny Satterfield, and Steve Logan). Does anyone know what team (from any given year) produced to most NBA quality players? Im thinking its probably the early 90s Duke back-to-back team (Laettner, Hill, Brian Davis, Parks, Hurley, and Antonio Lang) anyone know?

Pete Mickael also got drafted and had a cup of coffee in the NBA for that team. Who knows how far that team would have gone if K-Mart didn't break his leg? I would think that one of the North Carolina teams would have put the most players into the NBA. -

What are the parameters? Are we talking drafted or actually being on a regular season roster? The '84 UNC team had Jordan, Perkins, Daugherty, Kenny Smith, Joe Wolf, & Dave Popson, plus future college coaches Matt Doherty, Buzz Petersen & Curtis Hunter. Cecil Exum & Steve Hale were draftd into the NBA, but that was when there was more than 2 rounds. Exum became a pro in Australia & Hale is a pediatrician in Vermont.
I'm sure there was probably a UCLA teams that had as many as 6 back in the day. I would also think Pitino's UK title team would have had as many.-August 17, 1960Originally posted by VP Richard M. Something tells me Kenny Satterfield knew his greatest accomplishment in professional basketball was going to be touching Michael Jordan....

Of all the Carolina teams, '91? That's pretty amazing though, 9 players from 3 different teams. Kentucky actually had 7 who were worth something in the NBA, pretty amazing.Comment
