If CBS were to sell it as a set, would you purchase this weekends games?

People keep using the word instant classic to describe the 3 OT games but since CBS is not affiliated with ESPN, the games may not be on ESPN Classic anytime soon. I know some people are actually downloading the games but in any case, if CBS were to sell this weekends games would you purchase it assuming it was no more than $60?

I wouldn't be surprised if CBS didnt let ESPN get ahold of those. They owe ESPN big time when the Iraq War started and they agreed to let ESPN show the games while they did war coverage. As for your question probably not.

if unc was involved i might, but since our game wasn't an OT game, everyone automatically thinks it wasn't a classic. so probably not.

No & don't give corporate America any ideas either.

Not a bad idea for CBS. They could put all 4 Elite 8 games, 2 Final Four and Championship game in a small box set. Without commercials that's roughly 10-12 hours of games which would probably be a 3/4 disc set. They could easily sell it for $40 and people would buy it.

I think it's only a matter of time before some sport does this(World Series, Super Bowl, NBA Finals), and I think the others will catch on really quickly. Defintely an easy way to make a quick buck for the TV stations(unless of course the final rights are owned by the NCAA, NFL, ect then that would be an obvious tie-up). They are guarenteed to sell big with the fans of the winning team if nothing else.

Is it just me or do the Championship Videos for NCAA Tournies suck now? Like my 91 and 92 videos showed the entire tourney and highlights from all the games. The 01 video just showed a few dunks from the early rds and just did the Final Four.

I'd probably pay 100 bucks just for a copy of the Illinois-Arizona game. Happening on my birthday = a 20th birthday I will never forget.
