I know this is probably harder to find out since it’s more time consuming, but anything removed? Also do edit player still not have access to the other brands?

Just finished DL'ing shaders for 2k26. So far the creator, all old patterns are gone. They are replaced with a new single page of patterns. When you select a pattern, you can then select the colors in the patterns (up to 3 I think, but maybe more). There are different camo patterns, plaids, shapes, etc. You can scale and rotate the patterns you choose. Other than new patterns, there seems to be no other changes to the overall creator.

Not a bad start for the launch. I'm very happy to see that patterns have been switched out and I love the idea of being able to change the colors within the pattern. While I would have preferred to be able to upload a custom image rather than a pattern, it's much better than having the same patterns from the past 10 years.

I'll probably stick to only shoe mods again, this year. Console users should have a lot of fun playing with the pattern adjustments (Rotating, size/scale, colors). Some really cool edits should come out of it when everybody gets their hands on it.

Can we assign any shoe to any player or is it still only half the list? Just curious if Li-Ning and 361 are available in the edit player section for everyone now.

I’ll say this.. when editing a shoe one thing they need to change ASAP is hardly a zoom in. In all of 2K’s you can zoom in real good & close while editing your kicks..I don’t know why you can’t in 2K26

It's too bad there is no vault to share shoes. I like doing all the custom colorways but it's very time consuming. Maybe next gen.

You can’t update a shoe anymore? Why did they take that out?

I also did some poking around in 2k26 with last year's 2k file explorer. The Adidas AE2's seem to be in the game but I can't extract them. Whenever I try the program crashes. I'm guessing the shoe item number is 2116, but I can't be sure. It wont let me see a picture and the 3d model like with 2k25. We'll probably have to wait until Looyh updates the explorer or builds a compatible one. Harden 10's and Anta Kyrie 2's are definitely not in yet. Oddly enough I also just found files named "Tatum 4" (I'm looking as I type and assume they will be the new JT 4's) but they haven't even been seen irl. Didn't notice anything else new.
