Bug (Be Specific):
When finishing a game in The W by simulating, the player receives completely unrealistic stats that are impossible to achieve. Additionally, if you play with 5-minute quarters, all simulated games and stats from other teams are calculated as if they were 12-minute quarters. This causes the game to consistently rate your player as “bad” no matter how well you play.

Yes — it can always be reproduced by starting a game and then quitting while simulating.

It’s impossible to shoot using the double throws mechanic with the right stick (left-right or right-left input). The mechanic does not trigger a shot anymore, even though it worked in previous versions of the game. Is this a bug or an intentional change?

Bug (Be Specific):
The shot timing HUD appears before the ball reaches the basket. This reveals the outcome of the shot too early, since you already know if the timing was good or bad before the ball actually goes in or out. In other words, the feedback HUD spoils the shot result instead of letting the animation play out naturally.

The photo flash when going to the hoop on dunk or layup is non existent. On 2k25 was perfect

Bug (Be Specific): The OTF menu to control defensive tactics no longer works. Normally, it appears with the right button on the controller, but that’s no longer the case.

This is the second year in a row that this menu has been broken, even though it’s SUPER important to avoid wasting time in pause menus and to keep the immersion and rhythm of the game intact.

Bug (Be Specific):
In triple threat position, there’s a really useful technique that lets you chain a shot right after a single dribble (one bounce). You can do this dribble to the left, right, forward, or backward by pressing the left stick and the shoot button at the same time.

It’s also possible to do it with the right stick + RT held down. However, in this case it’s impossible to take a shot with a step forward, because it automatically triggers a go-to-shot. That’s frustrating, since it would be enough for the go-to-shot not to trigger when RT is pressed, but only when the right stick is pushed up.

This button mapping feels inconsistent and misleading for the player. More than once, I wasn’t able to step closer to the three-point line because of this issue.

Bug (Be Specific):
All the modern teams I control only use the “Motion” freelance, endlessly repeating the same team movements, and never use the team’s playbook or any series.

Last year, this problem already existed, but there was a workaround: in the OTFC menu (Offensive Options), under Gameplan, if you set it to “Auto”, the game would use the team’s playbook and sometimes the Motion freelance depending on the playbook usage percentage set in the coach menu.

This year, that’s no longer possible. Even when setting “Auto” in Gameplan, whether in the OTFC menu or the pause menu, the game doesn’t use the playbook. The only way to activate the playbook is to choose another preset, but that defeats the purpose of auto mode.

This is especially frustrating for beginners, who don’t know how to manage tactics and end up seeing their team repeat the same collective movements generated by Motion over and over. While Motion is interesting, it’s not as rich and varied as a real playbook.
