Is NBA 2K26 Worth Upgrading From 2K25 for Offline Players?

    Hey everyone,
I'm a big fan of the NBA 2K series, but I stick strictly to offline modes, mostly MyNBA Eras. I've got NBA 2K25 and with 2K26 out, I'm wondering if it's worth the upgrade for someone like me who doesn't touch online at all.

I'm curious about any real improvements in gameplay. Also, has Eras seen any meaningful updates?

Thanks in advance for any insights!

    No.

They broke numerous aspects of roster editing.

They also shipped the game broken as it's missing an entire line of code (every player is missing Drive Layup Tendency, which has devastating effects on the AI gameplay). This part btw should be reported to every major reviewer and make them understand how unacceptable this is.

I watched the video, sadness, just sadness... I'm so looking forward to this game. But I'm afraid that no patches will fix it. They're repeating the fate of FC25, but there was a different situation, the game was good on release, and then everything was just ruined.

I think so. It plays very different this year. More active. There is a lot going on…. So far I am loving it.
