    Some improvements and issues I’ve noticed as a fully offline, 12 min quarter player

    1. I love that the AI will go for the swing pass, inside out style of offense. This is new this year. HOWEVER I think it makes players in the paint far too timid to go to the rack and earn a foul. I’m seeing this backed up in my test play thrus(I do full 12 minute quarters). Free throw attempts are way, way down this year even with all foul sliders set at maximum.

    i’m watching too many guys pass up an open two in favor of a swing pass out to a contested three. Yes, NBA offenses are built around the swing pass, and I’m glad to see it happening this year. But it’s overtuned a bit IMO. I’ve cranked “Take inside shots”and “attack the basket” up a lot to try to address this.

    2. The AI actually commits (some) turnovers this year! This has been a bugaboo of the AI for far too long and I’m glad to see them taking the occasional bad pass like happens in real basketball. That said I still recommend turning up the steal success, hands, and play passing lanes sliders considerably. I also always set ball security to 0.

    3. Offensive rebounding is still too uncommon. I recommend setting offensive rebounds ability slider up to 70-80 and tune down defensive rebounds ability slider to 40 to generate more second chances.

    4. Blocked shots are also too uncommon. You need to crank the blocks ability slider way up to get the realistic 2-6 blocks per team on a regular basis.

    5. I’m not sure if the AI ever runs sets or series? Again, I get that motion offense is the standard in real basketball, but I think the total lack of any set offense contributes to the lowered totals on free throw attempts.

    Ive definitely heard the default speed is way t oo fast. I'm glad we still have the game speed slider. Have you noticed framerate dips? People have mentioned, at least on the Ps5, there are random framerate dips. For no rhyme or reason.
