The graphics settings recommendations don't make any sense (the other settings also don't make any sense but whatever). So the author of this article tells me to bottleneck my whole PC (9800x3D, 5070ti). Alright. Instead of playing in 4K with nearly maxed settings at 144hz I have to make the game look like a PS2 version. Even a 5yr PC can play this game with decent settings.

      V-Sync: On
NO Just no! In the past V-Sync on and online play often times lead to problems like increased input delay or even crashes. Disable V-Sync!!

Also like Fake Empire said, do not just copy his graphics settings. The most important thing with 2k is, that you get solid 60+ FPS in the game as Online, it is limited to 60 FPS. The only problem is, when the game runs below 60 FPS (even if its only 2-3 FPS lower), because then the game will feel sluggish and slow for you.

I recommend disabling Icon Lead Passing as this often times leads to teammates cutting behind defenders and thus resulting in turnovers on icon passes.
