They had the correct court last year right? Why would that be changed? I can understand if they can't officially include the Staples Center for licensing reasons, but they could still give a close approximation. They do it with MSG and TD Garden.

      1. They made the ball quasi live so you can’t just dribble the ball through and into defenders without a risk of losing the ball.

      2. Patched drifting/ moving jumpers were people are running parallel or away from the rim.

      3. Improved speed differences between players.

They have the correct court in the Kobe era (staples)
It's the LeBron era that still has the great western forum
So that alone is confusing to me if it has to do with license issues because staples Center is already in the game🤷

Good point. Makes zero sense. Seems like carelessness.

While I do play online sometimes, the amount of online cheesers that are mad about the update makes me happy. Also seeing a lot of other online people calling them out about them whining about not being able to abuse the dribbling and fadeaway shots anymore makes me happier because it means the online and offline community are more aligned than I thought.

Any improvements to CPU gameplay? CPU make plays? Has drive and kick been improved?

Unfortunately contract editing in the roster creator is still glitched, with half the fields greyed out and the inability to add players to teams on 2 way contracts.

2K need to fix challenges: CPU never challenges

Fix the noncontact blocks shots that are called fouls.
If you challenge,, you will lose even if the defender only hit the ball.

The ball will go off the CPU and if challenged, user loses.

The defender dribble contact animation is triggered too far away, with no contact.
Reduce the space before the animation happen.

Yeah, good patch, went in yesterday and got many steals by players wanting to warp through my defender, love this live ball also, saw a bit less of made fadeaways, so in essence its good.

Some things are better with this patch, but overall i think not much is changed for franchise mode, gameplay wise. Still hard to defend, when game chooses to make the difference and still you bump into invisible wall when you try to penetrate the defense. Not to mention odd blocks from behind and ''clumsiness'' of youtr elite players while mildly contested on dunks while on the opossite side even the smallest guys score on your bigs.

I will say this.. not always playing on ball defense helps me. Sometimes it’s best to select a post player and play off ball and defend the paint. I’ll select a perimeter defender if it’s against an offensive guy who’s not much of an offensive threat and maybe applying pressure to your advantage.

Ex: I played TMac vs VC and tmac lit me up for 70!! I restarted and adjusted how I played him the next game and he struggled wit 16 on 6-33 at shooting😁

While I agree, there's still part of me that feels like playing off-ball D is taking the easy way out. I know it's good strategy but my pride causes me to resort to on-ball D. The funny thing is that I predominantly play against the CPU so it's not even like someone is going to call me out for playing off-ball D.

Does every single made basket still hit the rim if you play on real player %?

They reverted being able to delay your shot using rhythm shooting in less than 24 hours. What feedback did they get in that window.

I’m hope the 2K team does not mess up the gameplay that already exists. Quite honestly I feel that it’s almost perfect and I’m getting great results and having a blast playing the game. People are complaining about a lot of things, but I honestly think it’s just a matter of how you play if you try to play real basketball and use all the essential 2K 26 offers.. you’ll excel in this game.

I can’t express how much patience is required. Last year whichever patch the implement it completely ruined 2K 25 for me especially with the cheat logic for 3 qrt starts and it took a very long time for me to adjust sliders.

If this isnt a 2k issue then why change the face scan from 2k24 with someone who is not ANT? so they just change to please the consumer? then why not get someone from the pc people whose good at fixing cyberface then. this not an excuse.

Because it's as simple as 2K isn't allowed to do that. They're bound by the contract they have with the NBPA.

As I stated in the above thread, PC modders aren’t subject to the rules of the agreement from the NBAPA license. 2k cannot use photos to create a scan without the players permission as it would break the agreement.

They update the face they create to try to get it as close as they can, but it has to be from what they have in the game. So until he goes in to a scan, he won’t get something that looks exactly like him.

But that is not even close to what ANT looks like even if they tried. so why bother change it in the first place? just to say ow yeah we did update him...????? why not fix the proportion of the face in 2k24 which is already in their data base and just adjust the hair to shorter..because im pretty sure they did not break any agreement in there since its already in the game?? is that how it works?
