I think some people are wondering if it'll be possible to edit other team's players in MyGM so, as I alluded earlier, you don't end up playing a Chris Paul on the Orlando Magic wearing jersey #17 and rocking red shoes.

I'd have to assume normal editing would still be present everywhere else.

There is one thing that will prevent me from buying this year. Me and my friends get together sometimes and play offline co-op association. It's more challenging then you would think. If they remove the ability to play co-op in offline MyGm its defiantly isn't a buy for me.

Truth. What are the options for local play? Eric said they are putting a season mode in but Offseason moves against my brother were awesome.

Anyway Next-gen NBA 2K14 is looking great so far and can't wait to play.

I am also concerned that in MYGM I will be player-locked to MyPlayer and be forced to play just him. What if I want to be other guys and run the court and shoot with other guys? What if I want to play the whole game and not have to skip or just watch when my MyPlayer is subbed out?

There wasn't any mention of this too. If I want to control 1 player, I play myPlayer.. if I want to control the whole team, I play Association. I don't want a 1 off season mode. I have a 2K14 team that is in the 2016 season right now.

Wait, the season mode goes multiple seasons? I thought that was just a single year with "multiple season lengths" referring to the number of games in a particular season. That's why I was still kind of bummed, because I like developing teams over a number of years, just not with all the RPG and fake GM characters.

That definitely means the length of the season. 24, 65 or 82, that sort of thing.

I love the idea and depth of how MyGM sounds but I think it would be better with REAL GM's...

but I think it will still be fun because after all, its association... so if you want to you can probably just auto-pilot all that if you want and play the games.. which I wouldnt, I love the depth, I would do all the real GM work and then balance it out with great play on the court... My copy is already paid off but im looking at it from all perspectives.. Def think everyone will be happy with the finished product!

Dude association, season mode, playoff mode, and all that other mess is boring anyway. There are too many things that can make or break a game but i can promise if these systems were pushed back at th last minute, there would be an uproar. People don't care if you're not getting the next gen systems for WHATEVER reason. I came in this forum to read posts about what people thought about the gameplay vid, graphics, and modes that are actually in the game, not to complain about what's not. Go tot he Live forum to bash 2K dude because 2k supporters are tired of hearing it. People somehow think they are hurting 2k by keeping the current gen version, who cares they still have your money anyway. Half the ones saying they are not getting the NG, did not get it in time to buy THE SYSTEM or can't afford it so they bash everything about it (sad to say). Having all features in an old game will NOT make me keep that OVER the newest version. I know it seems odd, me complaining ABOUT people complaining, but this is for people supporting the NG if i'm not mistaking

This is a bit of an assumption but I'll say no unless 2k confirms otherwise. Sim Baller's post references that they werent able to get "multi user" in. He says season mode is for people who just want to concentrate on the games and player moves. With all the complaints about removing 30 team control, the easiest response wouldve been "You can still do 30 team control in season mode."

****, if they had a 30 team season, that would end most of the complaints here. Especially from me. Would it be perfect? No but it would give fans the option.

so friggin disappointed that they took out 32 team control. I HATE MADDENS CFM/CCM. I have NEVER once touched MyPlayer. I know I will not touch MyGM or MyPlayer in this game so I guess its a whole lot of "play now" or quick games.

Im still pumped to check it out and play at launch but 2k dropped the ball here. Not everyone wants to play a mode that gives the cpu AI authority to make baffling moves and trades. I want to replicate real life with real life rosters. They better put it back in next year NO EXCUSES


**update**-- If this is true about having a 1 season mode without all the off-court/offseason fluff It definitely takes the sting out a little bit anyways. But they still gotta do the right thing and bring back 32 team association ASAP next year

Um, what are you talking about? No one is saying they aren't buying the game to screw over 2K, and no one is bashing 2K at all really. All we are saying is that some modes that people really liked aren't in the next gen version and those of us who played them are bummed out and want more info on the mode that replaced it. I'm not sure what mode you play on but if they removed it or changed it in a big way you'd be pissed too. We are all stoked on the graphics (stated earlier in the thread) and the presentation looks really good too (stated earlier) now we've moved on to the modes in the game.

Can't believe I got sucked in by a f*&cking troll.
