"my" 6-11 76ers play 8-8 Pistons next.. first matchup with Ellis and he's not happy about the Pistons from the NBA.COM screen.. betting I lose by 40 in this one.
Amazingly I'm in the game at just the 10:26 mark instead of sitting for the first 8 minutes like usual. I'm supposed to outscore Ellis.. in actuality that should be easy.. he's 5 PPG and 12 minutes per game.. we'll see
So much for my streak of scoring 20+.. I have 4 points in the first half.. up 55-44.. they will NOT pass me the ball like normally do when posted up.. Ellis has 10 points already.. pretty sure this is set up so I lose the challenge to Ellis. He rebounds EVERYTHING when I'm out there too.. I box him out and next thing I know I'm at the free throw line and he's got the ball! IT is a complete fricken joke really.. no way to outscore him in this first matchup.
I don't know who wrote the script but it's obvious you're going to lose the matchup from the start.. might win the actual game. I'm supposed to hit 3 of my first 4 shots.. yet they don't pass the ball.. only time I touch it is at the 3 point line if I leave the lane, they pass and I run to the line to catch it. Being outscored 20-6 by Ellis because I've had 2 shots taken and 4-6 free throws made
Ellis character itself is a completely stupid storyline 7'1 center doing 360 dribble and drive layups starting from the 3-point line? Umm.. NO.. he has 24 points now in 16 minutes.. 11-14 shooting with 3 and-1's. 14 shots in 16 minutes is a joke, nobody on his team has taken more than 6! I got my 4th shot attempt of the GAME in the 4th quarter.. forget saying we could win the game.. a 15 point lead is down to 3.. Ellis will score 40+ with this b.s. scenario screwing me on purpose. Obvious since now I got the 'score 10 straight' order and immediately they're passing to me and my center's gone COLD immediately.. 2K writers are worse than the WWE. After screwing my shooting % my going cold now I'm suppose to get it back to 50% .. b.s.
Managed to start making layups AFTER having to get back to 50%.. and got Ellis fouled out but the guy shot 18 of 24 with 42 points and 12 boards.. can't compete with that script if they don't pass to me until it's way out of reach. Gonna lose the game though now also.. all of a sudden I can't make free throws again.. AND the I just blew a layup, the game put me in fadeaway shot on a straight up easy one off the back rim. Definitely a loss before the game started, no way a guy averaging 12 minutes and 5 ppg scores 42 in a game playing nearly 30 minutes and taking 24 shots!
