How do I start over with a completely new player?

Is there any way to play this mode from the standard broadcast angle?

At the main menu press Triangle when MyCAREER is highlighted.
Only broadcast camera that is available in the Camera settings during a game is Broadcast Dynamic, that kinda zooms in on your player a bit. It can be inconvenient, after a while I just switched back to 2k Cam.

Thanks for the reply. Love this mode but really miss broadcast view. I suppose I'll get used to the 2k camera.

Just started last night. My SG got drafted 4 overall by the Bobcats with my rival going 3 to the Wizards.

I was pretty disappointed at first, but the team seems better than I originally thought. We started out rough with a win over Houston followed by 4 straight losses, but we've gone on a little run and managed to get back to .500 at 5-5 right now.

I'm finally getting some minutes and am up to 6th man at this point. Hoping to soon crack the starting rotation, really want to start outranking my rival in the stats dept.

I can't find anywhere where it says to sim to the next key game. Checked the NBA.com schedule, checked everywhere and nothing to be found. I found a forum post where someone was able to sim to the playoffs but they never elaborated on it. Anyone know how to sim games in this mode yet? It's in MyGM so I assume it's in here at least once you get past all the storyline stuff.

what i dont like is facing your rival Ellis in the first few games in your career. He will challenge you for more points, while you are still a "prospect" or "role" while he's a starter.

Unless you ball-hog and dont pass the ball just shoot, you will not win that challenge.

Just had two lame moments, I was asked to reduce the gap but while i guard my guy at the 3-pt line my team was giving up easy looks inside. So I failed the goal and the coach took time away from me.

So I'm carrying the team with my offense and keeping my guy quiet, yet my team fails to stop anyone from scoring and I let the coach down.

otherwise I'm really enjoying Mycareer, having a had time playing MyGM because I'm having so much fun with Mycareer

Why in the world is there no way to sim games. No ones gonna get past the first season. Call me crazy but I'm gonna read up on nba lives rising star mode to see what that's like. Don't wanna waste time trying to play every single game

I play every single game...always have. and I get past the first season. been playing since inception 2k10....

just saying that some people don't mind playing all the games. Though it does suck that 2k took the OPTION to sim away if you don't want to play
