What does it take to get invited to the Rising Star game at the all star break? I saw the posting of participants and I'm not on the list. The game is a week away and I am averaging 20pts & 9 assists a game. I am leading the rookies in ppg and apg. Thought it was weird i didn't get an invite unless another cut scene needs to play out. Anyone else get left out?

I did get invited to the 3-point competition.

You didnt get left out. You and your rival are both left out of the initial rosters when they first come out every time but you both made the game.

Ok, so I got a few questions for everyone...

1.) Has anyone gotten any other shoe contracts other than Adidas, Nike, or Jordan?

2.) Has anyone been able to play the Dunk Contest when invited?

I've played 2 seasons in 2 seperate careers, one as a 6'6" Athletic PG on the Pistons, and a 6'8" Athletic SF on Portland, and have been selected for the Dunk Contest on both....but never played. I even tried a Scoring PG for half a season, and its still a no go.

2nd meeting with sleazeball agent.. with all the hours of work on the game.. 150,000 man hours they say? Couldn't they try and make the bribe watch look better? Pretty sure I'll decline his offer when it finally comes, whenever that happens.

Same here. That watch looked like he grabbed it out of one of those crane games at the bowling alley.

For about a week, I have been having the same issue on Xbox One (online). I think your machine got the update so it wouldnt matter if your online or offline. Either way... they still have a lot of work to do to correct the issue. You can try to quit the whole game and load it again. It worked after 5 tries. Just to be clear, I mean sign out of your profile and quit the game (order doesnt matter). No need to reinstall the game. The problem isnt on your end. Its 2k.

When did you do it? I think its supposed to be in January.

Hello guys...I got an issue here with My Career PS4. I play normal My Career not connecting to the internet.


So, I created my player and everything.


Before the Rookie Showcase game, there is the plane scene where you can use "2k menu nav".


So, I wanted to add a Sleeve Pad, Headband, and Rubber band for my Player.


So, when I'm done I click "O" to Finish customizing, then it says " Saving...."


After that, I click My Player again to add something but everything I did doesn't save at all. Its like I did nothing.


The only thing that saves are the Attributes.


I tried after every game but it won't work.


Please help me. I'd really appreciate it.

Started Scoring SG. Went into the RS and at the half had 16 pts, 3A 3R 1B 2S. Held Ellis to 4 points. Had a 4 star halftime rating.

Came out of the break and couldn't hit an iceberg if I was standing on the deck of the Titanic. Only played a few minutes of the 3rd. Came back in at the start of the 4th and got the "Outscore Ellis" DG. Could not keep up with him at all!! He would drive around me and would break open easily. I couldn't stay with him at all. He scored 24 points in the 4th qtr alone. I was only able to sink a couple, all doinking off the rim.

Is there any scripting done at all to cause this? How could I have just totally fallen flat on both offense and defense??

MYCAREER REALLY PISSING ME OFF. I play on HoF and always have and have never really struggled to win games. But in this game the cpu really is unstoppable. My teammates never get stops and the cpu nails contested 3s 7/10 times and contact layups and shots inside at least 8/10 times.Only way we get stops on defence is if i get steals or blocks myself and even if the cpu miss a shot they usually redeem themselves with a ridiculous offensive rebound. 60 overall nobodies in the post nail ridiculous fades and hooks too from BEHIND the backboard on the baseline. It either goes right over the top of the glass or lands on the top off the glass rolls a bit then falls off and swishes. I honestly think my MyCareer is glitched or something because i see Chris smoove and QJB play on youtube and their cpu miss twice the shots mine does.

Funny how in the finals my team all of a sudden becomes horrible and can't make a shot to save their lives. Dropping 55 in a loss is aggravating.

I restarted MyCareer on Superstar difficulty and got what I wanted. The gameplay has been much better for me. I ended up with a 17-3-3 in the Rookie Showcase and got interviews from the Thunder (my favorite team) and the Bucks. Ellis went ninth to the Sixers (he had 27 in the Showcase IIRC) and I went to the Bucks as the 15th pick.

After a 3-2 start, we've lost seven in a row. I'm beginning to think that Larry Drew might be the worst coach in the league. My minutes have been really oddly distributed; I'll get five or six minutes in the first half and then play the last 18 minutes, leaving me completely exhausted for crunch time. He's also made some really head-scratching decisions in other aspects of the game.

Example one. We're playing Philadelphia and it's been a battle throughout. I drag the team back from an eight-point deficit with 2:30 left and the game goes to overtime, tied at 96. I hit X to continue... and the game ends. We lose 108-100 and I don't get a single minute in OT. After I put up a 23-8-12 in regulation (in 27 minutes!), I get benched for the last five.

Example two. Up six with 2:30 left against Charlotte. Coach takes O.J. Mayo, our best player, out for Zaza Pachulia, who is literally the last guy in the rotation. Brandon Knight proceeds to miss two free throws, and Charlotte goes on a 12-2 run to win 94-90 with Mayo sitting on the bench. He wasn't hurt, and he had only played 29 minutes. Freakin' ridiculous.

I guess that is to be expected, though. The Bucks just aren't good. I like my teammates and the way our team works, but the coaching... ugh.
