I've noticed that some people have been able to participate in the 3pt contest, I didn't get selected for that but I was picked to be in the dunk contest. After the Rising Stars game it just skipped straight to the All-Star game, what happened to my invite to the Dunk Contest? This really upset me as I built a high-flying SG and wanted to showcase his skills.

Anyone else got the glitch where the crowd goes hush in the 2nd and 3rd qtrs? Windmill dunks and 3s in a close game but no one cheers at all. So weird.

Is there a way to get drafted by Detroit at 8? Particular position/Grade in show case? Even when I get interview by them, well, and tank others I never get drafted by them. It's usually Sac. at 7 or Portland at 10. Sometimes the Suns at 5. But I've also gotten drafted by NO at 6 and Minn. at 9. Never 8, driving me nuts.

Just got to All-Star weekend in my new MyCareer, I have an 89 3 point rating (max. 90) and a 45 or something dunk rating and I get picked to do the dunk contest and not the 3 point contest lol. Does the dunk rating even matter or is it all about the whole button timing thing? I've only done the dunk contest once in the last-gen version.

I really miss the Kings' playbook, I used to run 6 or so plays all the time and they'd get me an assist (or my teammate an open shot) or a basket every time. I did the 'get on the team of your choice' method and got on the Heat but I'm not really enjoying the offense. We're winning games, but it's not the same like in my old MyCareer save with the Kings where I could get 10+ assists easily. In this one it's like everyone is being marked skin-tight so no-one is open. I probably should've tried to get on a different team tbh. Either that or I just need to learn what Heat plays are good.

Edit: Nevermind, apparently you don't even get to do the dunk contest lol. Thought you could since you can compete in the three point contest.

Are you marking them as your favorite team in the beginning when your agent asks you? If you do, they won't draft you.
I don't think you're position matters but I think you should try for like a ~B grade.

Okay, so can you or can you not hit free agency in MyCareer? I'd like to know because if not, I'm asking for a trade ASAP because I'm an 81 overall PG for the Bobcats putting up 30-40 a game but my team is absolutely terrible and can't win a game. So is there a free agency in MyCareer or is it still non-existent?

Okay, so can you or can you not hit free agency in MyCareer? I'd like to know because if not, I'm asking for a trade ASAP because I'm an 81 overall PG for the Bobcats putting up 30-40 a game but my team is absolutely terrible and can't win a game. So is there a free agency in MyCareer or is it still non-existent?

Do the trade. Only way we're getting FA is if they patch it in.

Whats the difference between alley oop tendency 2 and 88 for example in terms of how succesfull/impressive the alley oop will be when dunking it in the park? Or is it basically the same? My tendency is 2, even though ive been catching and throwing them down atleast twice a game.

So wit the Bucks I'm sitting at 22-12. However, we're now really thin up front. Henson is out for the season with a torn MCL, Sanders is out 6-8 weeks with a broken arm, Ilyasova is out 2 weeks with a bruised tailbone, and Delfino is out 2 weeks with a torn tricep.
Udoh has been starting the last two games and has played well (20.5 ppg, 10 rpg) but now Jeff Adrien will be playing 35 mpg at the 4. Playing 6 mpg with him was a pain in the butt so I can imagine how is gonna translate with big minutes.
On a brighter note, I started my first game against the Warriors and finished with 40 points and 17 assists, albeit in a loss.

There is no free agency in My Career. The only way to escape the Cats is to ask for a trade. At least you can be happy that you can't get traded to a worse team!

Thats the problem. You can go to a worse team. 76ers, jazz, bucks, magic. And thats considering the Cats are underrated in this game in terms of defense.
