3 games since the All-Star break now.. I've (TWolves) been down at LEAST 15 points every game.. and now 22 against Portland.. the game is forcing me to lose games.. Pekovic played 8 minutes in the first half with Dieng (who is far too under-rated in this game compared to his real game) and Chris Johnson playing 9 minutes at the center spot over Pek. I guess being 7 games over .500 was WAY too good for 2K so we immediately SUCK


I still can't get make a basket/layup when being fouled either .. it's just go shoot 2 free throws.. even after wasting VC on 'Finisher' I haven't made a single layup with contact since becoming a starter.. I think I've made 2 EVER since I can't get that single game stat up to 3

4th quarter now, was down 24 I started just shooting and driving.. got the lead down to 7 with under 5 left.. 24-7 run for the 4th quarter but I've had to shoot like crazy to get THAT close.. 15/28 shots overall. Got the lead to 6.. THEN Rubio and Pek decided they were going to start committing turnovers so all that work for nothing

hey at least you get fouled lol. it doesnt matter how much i drive to the basket i have yet to shoot more than 3 free throws in a single game. and thats only happened once. usually im lucky to go to the line once a game. i just finished the one scenario where i dont play at all in the third and have to "show what i can do" by bringing us back from a 20 point deficit to start the fourth. i ended up scoring 30+ points in the fourth to win by one. i shot one free throw all game. coach also said i would see more minutes but im still coming off the bench with the exact same 28 minutes i had before.

What level do you guys play on? And is it default or sim?

Playing on HOF/Sim is really starting to piss me off lol. Drafted 18th by the Atlanta Hawks and through 20 games, we are an amazing 0-20 smh. I'm 2nd in the NBA in PPG but my teammates just can't buy a bucket. We came close to getting our first win at home vs Boston.

Game went into OT but I was taken out after gaining my 5th foul on a reach against Rondo. We ended up losing 124-122. If only I wasn't taken out of the game

P.S. Budenholzer was fired after starting 0-10, now we have a generic coach whose name I can't remember at the moment.

Currently about 5 games into my 2nd season... Noticed during the first game that I was suddenly starting SG (I played PG the entire 1st season except for short bits at SG). Figured it was probably just the crazy coach experimenting or someone was injured, so I just went with it. Continued to start at SG (and stay at SG except for short bits at PG which is the exact reverse of the first season) which after some exploring, appears to be because a few teammates mysteriously disappeared (retired? they don't show up on waive/trade) - Hummel (I'm on the Wolves) mainly who filled in at SF is the missing party which forced Martin into SF (and then he tore his MCL/ACL or something and is out for the season). So I end up in SG, and Rubio (who is a turnover machine in my game) plays PG for most of the game.

Rubio was good in the first season when he popped in for a couple of minutes here and there, but when he's clocking as many minutes as me and consistently turning the ball over, I start to swear loudly and get increasingly annoyed. Is this a bug? Can I somehow get back my starting PG spot? Should I just give up and get myself/Rubio traded?

Hmm that's weird, I've found on Sim I get way more foul calls. I usually shoot 7-14 FTs a game and make them at a percentage of about 91%

Is it easy to win on all-star playing normally and not taking over a game? I play on HOF Sim and find it fairly easy to win but only if I take the whole game over

Hmm that's weird, I've found on Sim I get way more foul calls. I usually shoot 7-14 FTs a game and make them at a percentage of about 91%

Is it easy to win on all-star playing normally and not taking over a game? I play on HOF Sim and find it fairly easy to win but only if I take the whole game over

its hard to say because the playcalling is broken and im a sf so i cant call plays. i try to space myself out from my teammates but they end up passing me the ball a lot either way. even when i try to get my teammates involved i score more than i probably should. i think im averaging around 31 points a game right now even though im coming off the bench.

it probably also doesnt help that im on the suns who are not great to begin with. some games we blow out the other team and some games we get blown out even if i score 40+ points.

Yeah it's tough to say then, I made two Careers, one as a PG and one as SF. For the second one as a SF I bought the on court coach sig skill so I could change the offensive and defensive sets and run plays. It doesn't really work like it's supposed to and is broken.

It's tough for me to continue this mode when it's pretty much you against the other team

I shoot 12-14 free throws most games on AS/Sim and I don't find it easy to win.. even if I do try to take over.. it seems like if I try to take over they stop passing me the ball.. and then for a number of possessions I don't get it until the shot clock is already beeping down at 3/4 seconds.. I pass back inside and they pass it back rather than shoot to give me another turnover.

My player for TWolves is a SF so I can't call plays.. not that plays really work, or stay called long enough to execute them anyway. I can't really "take over" by blowing by guys and getting easy layups since every opponent (even Centers) is at least as fast as you are.

Another 2k pet-peeve started happening recently.. I go for an offensive rebound on my team's free throw.. the free throw is made.. so MY player goes into slow motion to mid-court and the guy I'm guarding is already at the other end and always gets an open pass and layup or shot. Don't understand why I go into slow motion "running" mode in that situation for probably three seasons of 2k in a row.

Really? That's weird, have you tried the "On-Court Coach" signature skill? Anytime you call for the ball they pass it to you which makes it easier to win come crunch time. Also, it lets you call plays (even though they never work) and you can set your offensive and defensive sets. I think it's like 10,000 VC but if you play this mode a lot and aren't a PG, it's worth it IMO.

I haven't increased the max speed a huge amount because of how expensive it is, and I won't pay 2K for extra VC to get the 90+ rating immediately instead of working on it.. not saying you did, I just won't pay them more than I already have buying the game.

Kevin Love should be back playing in a game or two after a month of games missed for concussion.. concussion on a jump shot too.. nice job 2K I just hope he gets his spot back in the rotation, he was dressed the last game as a 0 minute bench warmer. I need Alexi Shved to be back on the bench.

I hear you, I totally don't want the ball every time but I feel when I'm playing that I need to do everything (score, facilitate, rebound, defend, etc.) in order to keep the game close. This is the reason I ultimately stopped playing the mode.

Hopefully the game AI is smart enough to put him back in the starting lineup. The substitutions in this mode are completely broken too, I shouldn't be a starter playing 44 minutes a game...maybe if I was LBJ in the playoffs but still.

this happens to me a lot too. or if i get knocked down on the shot but theres no foul i get stuck in a "complain about a no-call" animation so im stuck on the ground for an extra five seconds while everyone else is on the other end of the court. leads to a lot of "allow man to score" issues.

23 games left in my first season as a SG with Detroit. We are 49-10, one game ahead of the Heat for first in the east. We traded for Tristian Thompson before the AS break.

I'm averaging 33.7 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 3.37apg on All Star difficulty, 10 min quarters. I'd have pry 3 more apg if Detroit didn't suck. Can't tell you how many bunnies I've watched Monroe and Drummond miss. Spoon feed them several times per game and they bif it constantly.

I actually tried to be a facilitator instead of scorer for a few games. Doesn't work - this team isn't good enough. Put up 63 points versus the Bobcats a few games ago - and we lost. Rest of the team is awful. But I wan't to win the finals if I can.

i would love to be able to facilitate realistically. but my team does not move intelligently off the ball at all. there are no backdoor cuts when i have the ball. when they do cut its when i already beat my own man and they just bring their defender into the paint to prevent an easy score for myself. and in the rare instances when i do get them a wide open good look they dont shoot it.
