Re: NBA 2K14 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Here is an example of a time when the game decided we weren't going to score.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/vGCp4ZVxQl0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
First, my teammate botches the inbound pass, but I somehow recover it. Then, I go for the fast break since two defenders are way behind. The big in the paint commits to me, leaving Nerlens wide open under the basket (surprisingly, he actually stepped toward the paint). I hit him in stride, which should have led to an uncontested dunk. Instead, he stops, gathers, shifts, and goes for a soft layup, which ends up blocked by a defender who was way out of position.
I didn't show it, but at this point in the game, we were down by 15 points. It was only the first quarter, and they shot 70% for the quarter to our 38%. I'm only 6-7 games in for this player, so I'm not a starter yet. And the worst part is that prior to this game, I moved the difficulty down to Pro as an experiment. So I come in down 15 in the first quarter on Pro, and this nonsense still happens.Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Double post: so I did the showcase, and got 28 points 7 assists 5 rebounds, it's too much I already know so I'm tanking the interviews in hope the bucks pick me, interviewed by timberwolves and pelicans and will tank both, wishing on a star I get drafted by Milwaukee hahaha

Re: NBA 2K14 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Sorry for all these damn posts haha but this time got 29 points, 2 assists 2 rebounds, went for less this time around in hopes to drop lower, I saw a couple of YouTube videos of people getting drafted to the bucks with similar stats so hopefully the same for Jabari
Got interviewed by the 76ers and the timberwolves, once again gonna tank these both, we'll see how I go in the draft, at least this time those 2 were lower than having the pelicans interview me, time for the draft.
AND YESSSSSSSSSS I MADE IT TO MILWAUKEE!!!!
Very very excited and extremely surprised it only took me 2 attempts! Let's get it!!
I'll be filling the thread on what happens to Jabari
Also if I send pictures they won't be very good quality, as they'll just be pictures from my iPad hahaha
Only downside I see right now is that Ramon sessions starts over Brandon Knight -.-, other than that I'm excited!!

Re: NBA 2K14 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I got selected to the Rising Stars game as a Sophomore in my rookie year....
I outperformed Jackson Ellis during the Rising Stars game, so (though my team lost) I got the Champ's Sports endorsement (my first one.)
The Jazz are 21-31, 2nd to last in the West at the All Star Break. We have no hope of making the playoffs.Last edited by Gronk4M13; 07-10-2014, 09:02 AM.Ravens: In Ozzie We Trust

Re: NBA 2K14 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Only played a few games with him but my 6'7 small forward might be my favorite position. I don't need the ball every play and where I'm rotating seems to free up more shooters, plus if I'm ending up underneath the basket on most plays it helps the post players get shots and I'm there for the offensive rebound. Finally having fun againComment

Re: NBA 2K14 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
is there any way i can get my team to stop getting scored on in the paint. ok so let me paint a picture. one game vs the miami heat(ugh) we (memphis) had gave up 61 points in the paint. im a pg so i call plays but since i was traded to mem, i come off the bench (despite me being the 12th best ovr pg). so i came off the bench in the 3rd and we had given up 45 points in paint, all while we scored 18 pip. we have no big other than durant, zbo is a shell, koufos our tallest player cant even stop a nose bleed and got lit up by olynyk vs bos. this ai drives me nuts. and our team has 5 pf but 1 center who could get beat in the paint by mini-me. and the stupid flu game happened three times, twice a few months apart. how can i get the team to react more. when im on the court we play ok, look like a deer in headlights but ok. but when im off the court, we lose a big lead fastLast edited by brent3419; 07-10-2014, 12:49 PM.NFL: New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers
