Re: Next Gen Custom Arena Music?
If the game plays like and/or better than current gen, has some sort of season option (which it does), allows us to edit the players (even if some features for cg aren't there), then that's all I need. I'm down to 2 sports games I buy, NBA 2k & MLB the Show. Considering giving Madden a try just to have some variety between those & Battlefield but at this point my PS3 looks like a PS2 to me. I just need Friday to get here already.Comment

Re: Next Gen Custom Arena Music?
Hey dude if you want to hear from the horses mouth here is a half hour interview with the president of Sony himself on Giantbomb (amazing game review site though they know very little about nor do they cover much sports but still great and honest insight into the industry) it isn't about 2K itself but at the end he does discuss how they literally were so focused trying to make the gaming features work that they kind of forgot (lol) the mp3 and DLNA features since they had a couple game features they were trying to get in that still missed launch window. From what he is saying it seems Custom music will probably be available in future 2Ks, since it sounds like a system update will bring MP3 and DLNA playback back.
Its around 25:05 in...
Sony's President of Worldwide Studios weighs in on all sorts of topics with just days to go till the PS4 launch.
He seems like a pretty honest dude for a big corporate type if you listen to the whole thing.Comment

While that's true I can't honestly play current gen after seeing something better looking out there. It's like you're dating a 7 who used to be a 9, and a 9 walks by. Yea she's not quite a 10 but after seeing her your girl is looking more like a 6 or a 5.

Re: Next Gen Custom Arena Music?
Stay away from Madden!.... I brought this for the first time in 5 years. I played 3 games and was done with it. Gave it to someone for free. But I think my problem right now is I don't want to spend the money. I've always felt developers don't put the good stuff out until the 2 year the game is out. Because they don't a real good handle of the hardware yet. Just my 2 cents. Don't get me wrong I see the 9 and the other 9 walking by. But I'll stick with my 7 because I her very well. And she knows me very well. And she knows I'm cheap
As for Madden, i'm talking about Madden on next gen. You've played it? I'm 28, I am past the stage of buying a game from every sport just to have. I'm pretty much down to 3-4 games (NBA 2k, MLB the Show, COD) are the 3 I pretty much still play. I'm getting Battlefield instead of COD to start, i'll probably give the UFC game a try but at launch i'll only have Battlefield & NBA 2k so I figured I'd give Madden a try.
I agree with you that years 2, 3, 4, etc the games get better. Which is why i'm impressed and happy that year 1 this game looks this good. Not a perfect game but a solid game for a new generation of systems.Comment

Anyways can anyone confirm if XBOX ONE lets your rip cd's to the hard drive? If that function is in there I'm sure custom arena music will be back next year or in the future.Comment

lol at the girl analogy. The thing is if I'm dating a 7 who has something the 9 doesn't have why should I upgrade?

Re: Next Gen Custom Arena Music?
I have been following this closely and it doesn't appear so. The XB1 (not sure about Sony) added the capability to listen to mp3 files via USB, but there's nothing so far on actually ripping (which is what we need) to the console. I hope they add it though because it's sorely missed.Comment
