Re: Are warm ups in for next gen?
But one can't help but wonder..... they have thumb prints on the monitors at the scorers tables, wires and microphones on the backboard stand - to quote Ronnie during the live stream "things you don't even see (got attention)".....
So how come obvious things that we do see got missed? I think the warm ups were a nice touch..... I think the camera men on the baseline gave the arenas more of a "messy" and crowded/realistic look...... and it seems these things are perhaps more important than bottles of water and thumb prints on the scorers table......
So no, I don't anticipate anyone would stop to look at warm ups, but I see where he's coming from..... perplexing to say the least.....Comment

Not sure if that's sarcasm??

Re: Are warm ups in for next gen?
I like the realistic look in having warmups at the beginning or guys who don't play wearing them. I was also confused when I didn't see them in the livestream but in the Knicks vs Nets gameplay video they were in.
My bet is they aren't in the final version. Next year seems to be the OPTIONS/Bring that back edition. The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.Comment

Re: Are warm ups in for next gen?
I just wonder what was the reasoning for removing them since we clearly saw on the IGN there was a point where they were in.Comment

Re: Are warm ups in for next gen?
The next question: Do injured players wear suits on the bench?

Re: Are warm ups in for next gen?
I'd like warmups, but I don't want to see players on the bench with warmups warp into the game with jerseys & shorts.
Would be cool if they actually removed them but that's wishful thinking, lol...
Injured players with suits would be nice too...Comment

Actually that should be what next gen is about. This should be in next years game.Comment

Re: Are warm ups in for next gen?
So much for "2k loves details". IMO it's kind of a big deal, couse that gives the game more realism. I mean they are talking about how much details they got in this game, but then they remove some of the BIG details which u are looking at all the time. I mean how often do you go in replay mode and watch how detailed the backboard looks?? Come on 2k...Comment

Re: Are warm ups in for next gen?
Well when you tout attention to detail, then miss something like this, it's a false promise. So in essence, it's kinda a big deal.Comment

Re: Are warm ups in for next gen?
They're absent from the PrimaGames stream and I guess these guys are playing retail so don't know what people were smoking saying it was confirmed to be in, it's not.
And yeah it's a little nitpick but when the game's so good and 2K themselves is pushing for the little details it seems odd they don't have things like this that were present in the old gen, you know with the crusty consoles running out of memory and all?Comment

I mean it personally isn't a make or break for me, but I would've prioritized it over the wires and what not.Comment
