I guess NBA 2k14 is the face of next gen sports games cause for the last 3 days, that all I have been seeing...Im very proud of 2K for stepping up!!!...................I just find it crazy that EA is super big on advertising and one would think that they were not having any sports games coming out...No videos, no reviews really, no live gamplay videos....something smells very fishy!!!

Cool vid. Didn't realize the microphone on ps4 could call plays! Ignorant question maybe, is mic on systems or associated with the optional camera?

Only thing that looked like former 2k "issue" is relentless CPU rebounding (mainly offensive)....Stoudamire, Chandler, and Bargs we're killing him on boards!!! Could be because guy was talking and playing, not boxing out, etc. that would be hard to play and talk.

The guy playing sucked obviously but I don't want to hear anyone saying that the Knicks are cheap rebounders because of the CPU. Some ppl like to emphasize rebounding especially with a team like the knicks. So human v human is really no excuse. Mycareer CPU teammate AI however is the only way it gets rediculous

will be much more accurate in play calling....oh my.....what a smooth online vs experience that will be

no more pause menus and stuff....guys tapping mic mute and calling a quick play....to fake out the Defense

                  so seamless

I liked the ref lifting his right hand while anyone is attempting a 3 and lifting his other hand if the basket is good(like signaling a touchdown). Maybe it is that way on the current gen and I haven't noticed.

According to this update, users will be able to use voice commands with the headset mic. So, in theory, voice commands should work for NBA 2K14 without the optional camera.

We wanted to shed some light on system software update version 1.50 for PS4, which will launch simultaneously with the system’s official North American launch on November 15th, 2013. By updating to system software version 1.50, you’ll be able to experience a variety of new features in addition to the basic functions of PS4.

                        • Face recognition and voice commands
Users with PlayStation Camera will be able to register their facial image onto their PS4 system, and login to their system using facial recognition instead of DualShock 4. Furthermore, users can use either the microphone of the Mono Head set connected to DualShock 4, or PlayStation Camera to navigate through the PS4 home screen (PlayStation Dynamic Menu) with voice commands to start up games and shutdown the system, among other features; please refer to PS4’s online manual for recognizable voice commands.

definitely looked better than cg. except the heat warmups at the beginning looked like leather. i liked that the knicks took advantage of user error leaving guys open.

like a lot of people said about the ronnie/chris live stream the passing is ugly. they need to make them more aware of what kind of pass they should throw. i hate the pass animation at 6:30 and felton should have known not to try a chest pass at 7:33.

overall looked pretty good. i wish they wouldnt have talked over the halftime interview. i would have loved to hear what spoelstra had to say and whether it was in line with what they actually needed to work on. hopefully next year we get a full halftime show.

Damn, the AI from the Knicks in that clip was impressive. The user should have used the crash defensive glass emphasis to try and tame Chandler from getting all those boards and put backs. The size of the heat down low really bit them in the butt

CPU AI looked good most of the time. A few odd things that I hope get fixed soon, but good way more often than not.

I would like to see better offense from the user AI teammates. The user didn't seem to use the points of emphasis or any quick plays/strategies, but still...

There are some animations that could be smoothed out. Some transitional animations are needed. And some of the passes still look akward. But smooth for the most part.

The looks of this game are falling only slightly short of my expectations. I expected animations to be a notch or 2 up. And I expected near perfect CPU AI. Nothing that would stop me from buying. It looks like a fun & realistic enough experience for me.

I couldn't even finish watching the gamespot video it was so bad.the guy playing seemed like he never watched a basketballgame before, let alone played a basketball game before. I do not understand how or why a gaming website couldn't or wouldn't get a basketball guy to play the game. That would be like having a gamer who likes fast paced action titles demoing a stealth game.

The great thing about these videos is that they don't fully show how great the game looks. Its gna look even better on a full hd tv. Cantwait for midnight.
