I feel bad after reading the OP. I went to my local best buy at 6:30pm and just walked away at 8:30pm with a guaranteed right to the non reserved consoles.

Don't feel bad for me, I'm golden, only waited about 5 hours total. I'm good with that, I had planned on it being much longer then that. Plus, I can always say I got mine 1st!!

They let us in at 12:04am.

I left at 12:07am and got home at 12:15am.

Time to get some 2K14 in since I've been waiting a month and a half, haha.

Hopefully everyone else got theirs safely and in a timely manner.

Amazing, was planning my early morning trek to K-Mart and Toys R Us at opening to try and nab one and Amazon goes and puts it up for sale...with Saturday delivery! Order placed from my comfy couch instead.

eBay scalpers are probably fuming right now...as are some people who may have waited in a line all day thinking that was their only chance. Then again, they get to play with their new toy tomorrow.

I am in complete awe with 2K14.

Like, I can see how some say it plays similar to current gen. But at the same time, it does feel a bit different.

There are subtle animations that really make you feel like you're watching a real broadcast (when playing on that camera).

I stuck to my tradition of picking the Raptors first (hometown). It may be a bit premature, but the A.I. plays like a carbon copy of Toronto; defensive breakdowns in the front court and all.

I have yet to pick another team but everything has been positive so far. The menus are a bit plain, but that's minor since this isn't Menu Overlay 2K14.

I don't want to make this a super long post because I'm still playing and there really are a LOT of details that YouTube videos and Twitch streams just can't show. You'll understand once you play. I am thoroughly impressed with the gameplay (Superstar/Sim).

Awesome! I haven't played CG so its gonna be a brand new experience all together. Are you impressed with the graphics?

Current gen is still really good. I'd still recommend that to anyone, honestly.

And the graphics...after seeing trailer after trailer, and now finally seeing it on my own TV, I am even more impressed with the visuals.

To anyone doubting 2K and/or Chris (LD2K) or Mike (Beluba), this game should really erase any doubts.
