Re: Where are the little things?
The little things are what make many people come back for more and not get bored with the game. When a game such as 2k or The Show already have such strong gameplay, those games need to pile on the little things to keep people interested year after year. 2k and The Show do a great job of that although after reading some of the impressions the little things just aren't quite as prevalent in next gen as they were on on current gen. When things are removed from Next Gen 2k14 that were in the current gen version, that's when people get angry. That's no doubt a legitimate gripe.
I'm in no way saying 2k nor The Show are completely flawless gameplay wise. However, both games already have such great core gameplay without major glitches. I don't believe any other sports games have that at the present time. Unless you are a really hardcore player with great attention to detail, finding flaws in 2k and The Show are extremely hard to do. When great core gameplay is there, people need to be sucked in in different ways to keep their enjoyment up. Whether it's through adding little things, making improvements to owner mode or bringing back and improving upon association mode, or whatever else there may be. That's just the nature of it for most people, and it's not a bad thing. That's how games improve. Also with the amount of money, developers, and departments 2k has for this game, I find it very hard to believe that they cannot upgrade gameplay and add in little things at the same time.

Where are the little things?
They focused one one main thing, the game on the court and the next gen graphics. I can forgive the lack of features because this is by far the best sports game ever made in video game history. I'm shocked how amazing this game looks and plays. It totally exceeded all expectations, and trust me, they were quite highComment
