This makes absolutely NO sense. Something that was available in last gen....you would think would be intergraded into Next-gen hardware..lol

It sucks because to me it is one of the best features. To be able to see the story of the game. Very disappointed by this personally.

Wow. Weird, cause at least last gen just showed us whatever was saved (usually dropping earlier replays for later ones). They should bring that back, and prioritize replay retention by which were shown as highlights in the game first, recent plays next, and old plays last.

I think this whole thing about 8 mins is speculation. I play 7 min quarters and I don't get them anymore. I know on xbox360 we would have this happen and you could delete all NBA today data and it would fix it. Tried that yesterday but haven't played a full game yet to see if it worked.

How is this even possible on a Next Gen System? Seriously, how is it possible that it works on PS3/360, but not PS4/XB1?

I haven't been able to view highlights at all, and just assumed that they took 'em out for some reason, but to read this is pretty ridiculous. How is the buffer on NG smaller than CG? Does not compute.

Well this sucks, it seems like a lot of the little things like this are nixed on next gen which does not make sense in the least bit since the system is more powerful and has more memory available. I definitely like watching the POTG and other highlights from the game.

 All the sensational individual highlight videos right after the game made the NBA 2k series so special in the history of sports videogames.

Too sad, that the new generation of consoles can’t handle the videos properly cause of a memory problem. On the good old Xbox 360 there never was such a problem.

In fact NBA 2k12 not only shows me the whole video highlights package, it also offers some (to me) very cool random photo shots of he game. NBA 2k12 is almost perfect in that regard.

This is semi-disheatening, if this indeed cant be restored. The POG highlights, when i did see them within first few days of ps4 release where so much improved! They had a new cinematic feel at times, and the slow-mo on dunks was insanely awesome! The sad part is it is really the best way to appreciate the stunning graphics and player likeness!

I know im probably in the minority, but i'd rather have postgame player and game highlights (aka gamereel from 2k11, i think) then to have a Sprint halftime show, brought to you by Sprint.

So you're telling me a system with 8GB of RAM is running out of memory? that sounds like a load of ..... seriously, its the biggest thing missing for me other than updated rosters. I'm on xbox one and I don't get any highlights on 11 min qtrs, I can play a hoops game that doesn't have realistic stats and this one plays great at 11 min qtrs.

I agree with you

although we should be able to have both. This has me so bummed, like Czar said earlier I love watching the story of the game play out and I loved being able to see all players highlights. I had a game with Javale McGee where he blocked 7 shots and all of his highlights were awesome shot blocks. This is really a shame.

No Player of The Game highlights or individual highlights postgame.

I think this is a flat out bug, not just a design decision (and if it was it's not one I think is a great one).

I get player highlights sometimes with 5 minute quick games, often I don't. If the POTG highlight system can't handle 5 minute quick games, I'd say it's flat out broken. I'd also say it's broken even if it can't handle 12 minute quarters, because at least Cur-Gen was able to get it working partially, and NG has WAY more memory available.

I did a 5 minute game, highlights were there. Then did a 1 minute game, highlights were there. I've been playing on 12 mins and never saw highlights, just saying.

I have never gotten highlights when playing 12 minute quarters. 6 minute quarters I've always gotten highlights.
