The best way to earn VC points on NBA 2K14 (next gen)

I was wondering what is the best way to earn VC Points. I tried the MyGm way (you can see it below if you didn't know about it), but I only got 400 VC when I won the title with the Miami Heat. I think there should be a easier way to win VC Points.

The hard truth is... 2Kk14 gives out very low VC rewards because they want gamers to get fed up enough to BUY extra VC with REAL. MONEY.

They have shifted their business strategy to include more micro-transactions, this year.

It's a common tactic in the gaming world nowadays.

If they gave out a decent amount of VC for wins, gamers would spend less money with credit cards.

    Damn shame.

I really don't like the direction they've gone with VC, it's one thing for a F2P title to do this, but to put up with all this after shelling out $60 is infuriating. The game plays really well, but the way they've gone about VC has soured me on the series. 2K basketball will be a rent-first game for me next year.

Download the 2k14 app on your phone. They have this feature called lottery and you pick an envelope that usually has at least 1000VC in it.

The MyGM method works well, but you can modify the roster so that the Heat, for example, have 5 starting stars, and then a mediocre bench so that you will keep morale high. If you're on PS4, you can use my roster, it's near the bottom. user: PHJMP, roster name: llll.

I made the roster so that the Heat is the best, and the rest of the teams are awful. Then I just sim through until 2018-2020 or so, and start over. Make sure to resign your stars at the end of each round. It take 4-5 minutes or so to go through a season, and you get 500-1000 per season. Works well for me. Unfortunately, I'm noticing that sometimes the VC isn't being registered. Has anyone else noticed this?

Can you link next-gen accounts? I tried with my PS4 account and couldn't get in, looking at the reviews in the app store people are saying it only works for PS3 and Xbox 360.

This is the exact reason and it's the worst trend I've seen in gaming in some time. Worst thing is there's really nothing we can do about it. They create VC, they determine how much you get, make it a tiny amount so you're forced to buy it (which no one ever should to prove a point). It's something that will lead to the destruction of the gaming industry imo.

You must all be really bad if you pay for VC ive made 100k from just online games. So I am not sure what you guys are doing, maybe just staring at your screens/wasting time asking people how to cheese for free points. BUMS
