Great post, I would have to agree with most of it.

      Re: NBA 2k15 simulation ideas/wishlist

I hope 2K is listening but the majority of the request seems off the wish list have produced simulation threads which is exactly I think needs to be addressed.

      1. Signature movement/Running: I really like that running idea. I actually feel the players are running up the court too fast. They need signature running. The default moving up the court without turboing is too fast.
Westbrook runs on his tippy toes
Hibbert sort of plods of the up the court
Perkins has this running where his knees are high as he runs and he is usually one of the last one coming up the court
Noah sort of swings his head back and forth as he uses his arms like he is struggling.
Giannis, KD, Wiggins are long stride runners them dudes run like gazelles out there

      2. Agility/movement/acceleration: Players are just covering too much ground going in directions too fast from stand still. The CPU looks spastic at times moving around. Noticeably by the CPU backpeddling just too fast. The agility footplanting, acceleration just needs to be improved by leaps and bounds from a realism standpoint. It is like they made it unrealistic just to keep the points in the paint to what they wanted or make it harder than necessary

      3. Dribbling: They need to redo the animations to get some contextual animations for dribbling in crowded areas. The CPU is performing dribbles that should not be even possible in crowded areas just to slip by you. Could also use signature dribbling

      4. Rebounding: Just needs to start over. By far my biggest pet peeve of the game for a few years now. The fundamentals of good rebounders are just not captured correctly. It seems like the ratings just make certain players win and know where the ball is going. No randomness of the ball to rim. Very little long rebounds and way too easy to put up a shot after a offensive rebound. The ball doesn't seem to be up for grabs. Also can I get second jumps not saying I am going to get the rebound but let me jump.

      Westbrook, Matrix, Wiggins, Noel.

      5. Passing into the paint for dump offs is just way too easy.

      6. Signature post moves: There are signature shots but why are there not signature post moves?
Pau's post moves are different than Hibbert is more robotic and he mainly relies on jump hooks.
Howard does a face up running hook as his go to move. Or he does a drop step spin to finish
Marc Gasol has and array of scoop shots
Wade when in the post almost always goes to a push shot to hook
Blake has his own moves. He likes to lean on defenders and do spins
Z-Bo prefers to dip his shoulder to create contact and then shoot a high shot. It makes it hard for defenders to block his shot he uses leverage and bully ball.

      7. Real fast breaks/defense: Some of this is signature some of this is just realistic simulation basketball
      • I would love to see the CPU foul me to stop a fast break
      • Or give up on a play when there is no chance to catch someone on the break like a big man chasing down a guard, or if they are in foul trouble.
      • Or Tony Parker use his hesitation to 360 layup just to leave the D froze.
      • LeBron uses that 360 layup when someone is directly in front of him.
      • I haven't seen this but how about hitting a trailing big man on the fastbreak. 1 on 3 breaks. Let me get a 1 on none fastbreak
      • The defender backpedaling is usually at the mercy of the offense which is part of the agility, movement issue. This is not the case here. The game doesn't recognize how backpedaling you are not in control to defend very well.
      • Or a trailing player cleans up the fastbreak miss with a putback dunk. These are things I don't see maybe it has happened but it needs to be "live" or have a chance to happen
      • 1 on none fast breaks are usually steals in the half court or somebody jumping the passing lane and the offense has no chance of getting back and usually just half jogs

What I am saying we need a more dynamic fast breaks where you don't know what is going to happen. We also need players to try moves that they would normally do in a fast break.

Please bring back manual spin move dunk. I loved coming down the lane and finishing off with double tap O button

They need to bring back and improve ONLINE ASSOCIATION

After just witnessing Lebron's Decision II and the way it made the entire universe STOP, it is clear that ONLINE ASSOCIATION needs to be the centerpiece going forward for all sports games.

They need to get the jab step right. left handed players should only jab step with the left leg.. and the same for right handed players. players like melo never would face up and jab step with the left leg in real life. no matter what side of the court they caught the ball

                      Re: NBA 2k15 simulation ideas/wishlist

The main thing they need to focus on is Association. Also bring back summer league and training camp to my player.
For Association, building up a team needs to be more difficult, also there needs to be more options. There should be an option where teams can only have 7-9 players and when you start an association like that the other players are free agents the next year while the top 7-9 stay on each team. This is because most people don't have the time for 12 minute quarters, so they play less minutes, so they use weaker benches which gives you an advantage since you can focus all your money on getting starters.

Also getting free agents when you have a small market or a non main stream city should be tougher. It should be near impossible to build a team through free agency with some teams. Make it so with stars in their prime you have to be the best contender offering the star a contract to get the player if you have a small market team. But don't make it so white and black. If your city is the players home town then you have a better chance, or if you drafted him and he has high loyalty then you get him.

Association just needs to be a lot deeper because it is just to easy. I can take any team and make them a contender in 3 years max.

And don't make players ratings so high. There should be very few players at 90+. Lebron shouldn't be 99 or 100. That should be the rating for a perfect player with 99 at almost everything and nothing under 95. Lebron isn't that great on free throws so he should be below 99. Maybe 96 max. Other players ratings should be adjusted just as strictly.

If someone changes a draft prospects potential to 99 that player should be able to achieve something very close to 99 everything which is clearly superior to Lebron but the overall rating would be the same under this system. Which doesn't really affect how the player plays, but it's just stupid to have them have the same overall rating.
i tried not touching anything when i was younger and ended up pissing all over myself.

You have the ability to be..........A EXPANSTION TEAM OWNER. They put the real-life rules of the expansion draft, free agency etc. and you can own, manage, coach, and play as a team. Also, create-a-player and Create-A-a team for next gen. With that, there should be a list of team names that the commentators can say in-game, along with cities. And possibly the ability to import your own logo from their website/ an app/ something like that?

I agree with all the ideas that you guys have and would love to see them implemented into the game ASAP. For me, I would love when we start a Association that the teams have their correct draft picks cause that to me just neglects what certain teams are trying to achieve like 76ers,Celtics, etc... (ex. when the Love trade happens to Cavs, all you will see on 2k is that Wolves get Wiggins and Bennett but not the 1st rounder) That has always irked me about the game. Create a player has to return with a overhaul of options to your player not the generic system they have used forever on current gen and especially not the watered down 2k14 next gen with the pre-made faces.

Some nice ideas but the stuff about dribbling way too complex, this isn't an rpg. They way it is now and the way they've been doing it for years is fine for everyone.
