My guy was a 99 ovr 6-8 SF, now he is a 6-0 C 70 ovr and when I try to go to my career, where it would say your name on the bottom its just ************** *************** and then the game crashes and I get that error code.

I took all gear and everything off him and it is still happening.

Same here. I tried deleting the last saves and i get a cutscene but it gives me the error message again.

I had 2 players too. One pg and one sf. I am so upset and i heard 2k wont do anything about this issue anymore.

Fixed it. Phew. I had everything backed up online so i did a complete factory reset on my ps4 and downloaded the files after it finished installing 2k. Both files saved.

Guys, i found a solution. If you try to load your my career and the askertisk (******) are popping up where your name should be it is something to do with the NBA today. So if you go to NBA today and the video of the daily zap from NBAcom doesnt come up then all you have to do is go to dashboard and go to the nba 2k14 app and click options on your controller. Then press delete and it will uninstall the game. But dont worry, because it will keep your saves, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. Let the game reinstall. Then you will have to recreate your myplayer. Then install the update and load your my career files. It should work. I hope this helps.

Im DEEP into MyGM mode. Like 2033/34 season.
Just after the draft order is picked I get the pop up saying that my Staff contract has expired. I hit X to proceed and it gives the error, boots me out.

I tried to see if I could go to the staff before just to extend them like you can in the season, but It wouldnt allow me to do that until I advance to that point.

Tried to just simulate ahead to that point, but as soon as it gets to the same point, same thing. I just recently bought the Bulls organization with 50k in addition to getting all those other skills in order to do it and now this.

Anyone know a workaround for this?

I finally just got around to downloading the update and i can believe it but when I started My Player Career back up it finally worked! It usually just froze at the loading screen with the picture of the court ad i couldn't do anything. Glad it works now since I purchased a bunch of credits for my player....

This error is so ******* annoying!!!! Rarely happens in madden, probably only happened once. In 2k it happens moderately. But in MLB it happens every other game it seems!

I'm can't even start the game. It was fine yesterday but now it crashes at the nba logos screen. Can anybody help

I've had the same problem for months and it seems you can only play so many season in MY GM before it becomes completely unstable and crashes at the retirement or draft order screen/staff transition screens

im guessing its because most retired players are being thrown into the coach pool so theres something like 400+ names in the coach pool by 2030 and it just crashes
