What you have to do is have two profiles, use the one that your using to start the game at the menu. Put it at player 1 when you start, then when you start game, quickly switch over to guest profile. Guest profile should be cpu automatically. Just click X until you at the game start. It will say connect controller, just click start button on guest profile and game will start cpu vs cpu. Your welcome
