Another one of these threads... and people wonder why the real issues don't get fixed.

In prior 2k games 2-3 zone beat everything. There was little to no foul calls and you could just post two huge guys in the paint and 3 quick guard if not 2 guards and a forward on the perimeter. You can't shoot threes out of it unless you can get a miracle screen. We all know contested 3's in this game hardly go in despite having all the skills necessary to make it go in + excellent release.

Real issues? Is gameplay not a real issue? Oh I'm sorry, you'd rather focus on your cutscene bubbles not working in your MyGM mode. If you play offline, then stay offline. 2-3 Zones can be beat with 3s, backdoor cuts off penetration, and overloaded sets. You wouldn't know that because you haven't even watched a real game have you? You just want to go into the paint like a mad man and draw fouls everytime regardless of how bad the layup was. You would think a Jayhawk fan would have more sense then this. If your representative of your schools population, no wonder you guys haven't done **** recently. ****ing birdbrain

Now you want to talk experience yet you don't even understand how frequent fouls are in basketball. You made it very clear you can not play basketball, do not understand it, and have a hard time against people driving in the paint. I think this comes down to a lack of understanding as well as skill. Now go watch some NBA games and learn up on what the rules, styles, etc are.

Stop watching youtube videos on how to play NBA2k14 defense as well, that's probably your problem.

If you don't realize there is a legitimate issue with the fouls, you need to play online more. I can't adjust the sliders because I don't like manipulating the game, not to mention I play ONLINE, HUMANS. REAL PEOPLE, not some ****ty computer who some asian guys program how to play. I even used logistics and you guys refuse to accept their are too many BS shooting fouls called in this game. If I played a 12 minute game, me and the other guy would be shooting 60+ free throws a piece, but to each his own I guess. Keep defending 2k and all its issues, its probably why half the **** on this game doesn't work properly because people are content with broken features, are refuse to accept the reality that they simply don't work.

That's what frustration causes. What's funny is in 2k (even on Hall of Fame) I have no problem stopping the inside drive with man to man coverage. I don't know about you but I rarely go to a zone.

There's nothing wrong with fouls at all. Your problem only occurs online because most people that play online do not play legit team basketball or run plays and do all that they can to drive the ball into the paint or shoot 3s. According to 2K the most used team online is the Heat - when you give casual players, hell even sim players Lebron, they're going to want to drive into the paint. More driving in equates to more foul shots, simple as that. That's just how people play the game. Nothing wrong with it unless you want there to be a problem. Face it, the majority of the time you play online you're not going to get as realistic experience as you would offline or against other simheads. This is just a product of that.

the problem here is that unrealistic play is rewarded. there are hardly any offensive fouls called even for those players who do nothing but spam turbo into the paint. everyone gives this game a ton of credit for being so close to the real thing but what you just described is the complete opposite. you get penalized for playing good defense and rewarded for playing bad offense. i have yet to see a single charge called in nba 2k14 online or offline. that says something.

You seem to have some sort of weird superiority complex as an online player. Why is that? Do you somehow think your qualms are vastly more important than the issues offline players are facing? Believe it or not modes like MyGM are broken as well. And what is this garbage about "editing Kobe Bryant's finger nail length"?

The fouls are too high on sim sliders. They have shooting fouls at like 80. I can get a big man in foul trouble every other game with Aldridge and the CPU's AI for foul trouble is poor. Turn it to 65 and its much better. The charging calls are much better than CG though.
