Problem with mygm farming

As im going through the season i see myself completing challenges up to 1000 a season like your supposed to but im only getting some of the vc like 200-400 anyone know a fix?

I'm having the same issues. Restarting the game does NOT work.

I have even tried simming more slowly, stopping to try to let it update or something. It seems just plain random.

I bet there's a hidden time limit or something.

Must be im not sure why like i said one season it works then the next it doesn't and it just repeats not a big problem

I've been testing and I'm pretty much positive that 2K is not allowing the VC updates on the server side because of a time limit. See if this makes sense.

The reason that "every other season" works is because the time limit is approximately the amount of time it takes to do one season. (5-10 minutes). The reason it is not longer, is because they want people who they feel are simming "legitimately" (i.e. doing the draft and signing players in the offseason, but simming the regular season / playoffs) to not have their VC throttled by the server. However, people who skip the offseason and start over are being throttled by the time limit.

You can test this by just doing everything exactly the way you normally would, but waiting 7 minutes in between seasons (that's the number I've been using to confirm that consecutive seasons work after waiting a certain amount of time).

I know what works for me. I just quit MyGM mode after a season and start over, and I don't have a problem.

That doesn't work for me. If I do it fast enough, the next season doesn't give any VC for any of the goals.

You shouldn't have to. That's my whole point.

'Farming' is done in (turn-based) RPG games, MMO's and/or mobile games.
Not in fast-paced SPORTS games, on a console.

The mere fact that the 2 terms 'farming' and 'NBA' and used in the same sentence to address issues in basketball gameplay is completely ridiculous.... is what i was getting at.

These 2 completely different types of 'gameplay mechanics' do not belong together, imo.

It's like using a timeout.... to play multiple hands of 'Texas Holdem'..... when it's '4th down and inches', during the final 10 seconds of a tie-game in Madden Football.

It's. Just. Not. Right.

I just miss the old days (4 years ago) when 2K made an NBA game.... THAT DID NOT INVOLVE THE WORD 'FARMING'.

But I'm 'old-school' like that. lol.
So maybe it's just me.

The problem with MyGM farming, is that simming is more useful to VC farmers than it is to guys who actually care about their association and are playing it for real.
