"I can tell you how to do it:
1) In the contract negotiation - propose the lower amount that comes up by default (or really low ball to make sure the player comes back with a reply)
2) The player will respond saying we can do better, etc.
3) BEFORE you hit the X button [PS4] to bring up the screen again to adjust the numbers - press and HOLD the down button on the D Pad. WHILE HOLDING THE D PAD DOWN - press the X button
4) You will now be have access to the list of items you couldn't get to before. It's starts at the bottom and you can edit each category working your way up. PLEASE NOTE - you can't move back down once you move up to the next category - so make sure you know what you wan to propose before you start editing.
I hope that helps. This was literally a game saver for me *whew*"

Yup, someone figured out a work around:

The credit goes to Basketball GURU.... He somehow discovered this. I just am merely passing along the message.Comment

Some of the Sig Skills were re-designated as badges for next-gen. If I recall correctly, Microwave was one of them. Check some of the NG Developer Diaries for more details.According to my old marketing professor, satisfaction is when product performance meets or exceeds consumer expectation.Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 Title Update #3 Available Now For Xbox One & PS4 - Patch Notes Included
The post-patch#3 Online lag is intense, horrible and unacceptable. There is no respect toward customers.
Now, online is absolutely unplayable. The ****** ball loose animation plus the non-responsive buttoms due to input lag are way out of control.
This patch#3 destroyed the Online experience.
The ironic teaching: the most anticipated next gen game and highly overrated is now a total fail. Be sincere with yourself...you expected a lot more from this game and now almost 90% of the community is frustrated (except for beautiful non gameplay things like lights, courts, better graphic and that kind of stupid videogame stuff.
I play this game 99% of the time offline, both MyGM and MyCareer modes, and apart from small glitches I'm enjoying it a lot. The core gameplay is almost spot on. So I can't complain. Patches for me have solved problems I cared about. Now if online experience is not ok we can't say the game is a total fail. Call me lucky, but I never experienced corrupted saves or files nor any other major glitches. And I'm a demanding player, since I'm almost 40 and playing 2K NBA for ages now 😉Comment

Hmm...citing the year and the "always-on" time we live in, I do count online multiplayer in sports games to be among one of the more important factors. We no longer live in an age where you go over to a buddies house for an all day gaming session. Now it's more likely that you'll do this over the internet. Not being able to do this in 2013 is an issue. Like you, I've been fortunate to have a pretty functional game offline, but the AI--while smart--is neither as creative nor engaging as a human (not to mention it exploits the engine in ways a human cannot), so I'd much rather play against a person. The game can play nicely, but right now, I consider it a game I cannot play.
You are obligated to give the paying consumer what is advertised. With the online deficiencies, 2K has only delivered on some of the goods.
Curiously, the only thing the patch has done for me is fix my settings. I've never had any of the offline glitches others complained about. If I were content to play the computer I could do that indefinitely.
I do wonder if the the online problem can be resolved via patch. I hope so. This game is very ambitious. And as a result is riddled with problems. Perhaps some of these ideas should have remained just that--ideas--until they could solidify the main modes/experiences.

Re: NBA 2K14 Title Update #3 Available Now For Xbox One & PS4 - Patch Notes Included
One gameplay complaint post-patch for me is that I have very high fg percentages for user controlled teams for 5 games now (mid 50s to low 60s for me -- CPU always near the 50 percent mark) for 8 minute quarters, superstar difficulty and simulation sliders. Don't know if I've been lucky, or if I've gotten used to the shot release of the players, or if it's because I'm using Portland, but that's been my minor gripe. Game plays more fluid, and I've noticed improvements on defense as well (mostly on team defense). Blocks are also still too easy to come by though, and some of the pass logic is still bad.Comment

I went back to Allstar because the game wasn't as realistic with some steals and turnovers, not to mention Off rebounds.
I agree the passing logic isn't as fluid and seems worst after patch but I do see a few better passes.True bout my business, Mane!Comment

I'm still having games not starting in The Park after the patch.
Offline gameplay seems to be more fluid though. Nothing major but gameplay is still good. What we know so far about NBA 2K14 - FAQ/QA:

Like I said I haven't had the game in a while so I don't know if it's a result of the patch...but I am loving the variety of shots the CPU is taking on offense...Comment
