Wait, wait, I wouldn't go that far bro! Some of us, me included, are having quite a bit of FUN with the game...I don't play MyGM OR MyPlayer so I don't see those issues anyway. As far as the game play and the game overall I am very pleased. The patches I am grateful for as well. I appreciate the fact that 2k does listen to our feedback. Not even close to EA status if you ask me, which you didn't I know. Just go play NBA Live and get back to me...I'll wait.

Crazy how some are having probs....some aren't. I'm in my 4th my career season and am still having great fun. I have not seen any of the freezing issues or other things reported. The only thing I have seen is the injury bug....where players would not return. That was fixed in the last patch.

Yep, Chris Paul and KD have been the most noticeable so far...loving the pull up J's

Does anyone know what they plan to address going forward that doesn't pertain to MyPlayer or MyTeam? I think they've completely ruined the game for Association style players like myself.

Did you know there is a workaround for this currently?


I can tell you how to do it:

1) In the contract negotiation - propose the lower amount that comes up by default (or really low ball to make sure the player comes back with a reply)
2) The player will respond saying we can do better, etc.
3) BEFORE you hit the X button [PS4] to bring up the screen again to adjust the numbers - press and HOLD the down button on the D Pad. WHILE HOLDING THE D PAD DOWN - press the X button
4) You will now be have access to the list of items you couldn't get to before. It's starts at the bottom and you can edit each category working your way up. PLEASE NOTE - you can't move back down once you move up to the next category - so make sure you know what you wan to propose before you start editing.

Just so you know - The user does NOT initiate the scouting process (like in current gen). After the first 15 or so games - your scout will come to you asking you who you want to scout. At that point - you can select specific players or positions, etc. He will then come back to you after each scouting report is done throughout the season.

Thanks. Somebody else mentioned this as well. Because that didn't happen for me i didn't realize that. Scout never contacted me. So that's the real problem.

Shame. Traded for two possibly very high first round picks. Full rebuilding mode with LAL.

Well i always use the Lakers. Big Fan since about 2000.
Traded Pau and Nash and reworked the bench. Fun when it was working...

All of this and they couldn't add the ability for us to change our MyPLAYER's number? Man, my player's number changed from 1 to 57 and it looks lame as hell, I absolutely hate how my player looks right now and I' almost considering starting over because of it (and I'm almost through a whole season).

Seriously, the most important thing about your MyPLAYER other than his appearance is his number. Those two things are the most synonymous with what really defines your player on the court (other than his skills of course, but I mean visually). It's embarrassing that I have to run around with a point guard wearing number 57, it just looks absolutely terrible on any NBA player really. Please 2K, it can't be that hard to put this option in this game, a lot of us loyal 2K followers would sincerely appreciate it.

I believe the black screen that stays for minutes when starting the game is due to the latest roster update downloading. Based on your connection it takes more or less time. Please 2K add a progress bar or something, don't leave us with a meaningless black screen, thanks.
