<small>Depending on where you are at with your 2K experience, NBA 2K14 is either amazing or a disaster. </small>

The NBA 2K series has enjoyed plenty of success since it launched NBA 2K11 with His Airness gracing the cover. Ever since then, EA Sports has been treading water while 2K has steadily improved year after year.

But then the next generation happened.

Despite having solid game play and – in my opinion – the absolute best graphics of all next-gen games, NBA 2K14 has plenty of areas that need improvement, and fast. Here are three specific areas which should be tuned in the next patch to fix some of the biggest complaints with the game -- outside of the still reported crashes and save file issues of course.

Definitely the trade logic, that was on top of my list. There are entirely too many of them. But i'm hearing from the XB1 users that Patch 3 fixed the player roles so there were less unhappy players, which brought the number of trades down.

You stated every problem I've had. Adding to the VC issues, why do I have to pay 200 VC for the ability to calm players down and improve morale, but then be forced to spend 1250 VC each time I use it. It's ridiculous. It takes playing the game on 12 min quarters to make 900 VC a game. I'm not buying the game next year if it isn't corrected.

Fix the atrocious input lag online, fix the Dolby "choppy" sound glitch on PS4, rerate Nicolas Batum and Robin Lopez and I'd be happy...

I'm a quick match player, but the input lag online makes this game completely un-enjoyable.

Defensive settings

Create/edit a shoe, team colors don't work for home and away.

Saving rosters and sliders to HD

Ball Handling:
I get a rebound in the paint my player ALWAYS loose the ball for a turnover, even if I'm trying to get out or not moving.

Ball handler has less momentum and freedom of movement than a defender has. There is still too much sliding and sometimes the defender has "concrete feet". This shouldnt be with a quick defender. But i would understand with a slower, or bad on ball defender

The overall ratings are too messed up to patch trade logic. Instead of fixing the rosters (lol) they will probably just give us the option to turn them off.

Fixing the VC issues,
Fixing lack of create a player,
Fixing lack of ability to save rosters to hd,
Fixing lack of ability to save settings,

Fixing those 4 things alone would be a decent start for 2k.

Well what they really need is to fix the trade logic , draft logic , MAKE TEAMS PLAY LIKE THEMSELVES ...1 good thing about the other basketball game is that they made it so teams actually play like they actually do in real games

I think a re-commitment to real life NBA replication, both on and off the court, would go a long way toward putting 2K back on the right track. I view virtual currency and other recent trends as video game additions, as opposed to being NBA additions. I think it's a little bit tougher to go wrong when a game yearns for authenticity as opposed to whatever it was 2K was going for these past two years.

2K needs to roll back VC and enable regular non-connected single-player My GM or I won't be able to bring myself to buy another edition of the game.
