Yeah its happening to a lot. Seems like it happens if you try to purchase an upgrade. At least what I read last night and thats what happened me today.

yep this happened to me.
I made a new myplayer but it only overwrites your look and name, the save is still fine for me

but now i get the checking for internet connection error

I doubt 2K will do anything before Jan 1st, they'll look into it after Jan 2nd, since they're prolly on vacation

I'm about fed up with this crap. I hope they extend the historic team packs deadline as I've essentially been unable to play for 3 days.

2k has tied almost everything now to their servers in order to access things such as custom rosters or in order to play modes because of the stupid VC greediness. Its like we all just rented a digital version of the game that may or may not work depending on 2ks servers. Shame on you 2k!

I don't think I've personally ever seen a game that is so grossly demanding on micro transactions but lacks functional servers.

I think it will be fine. I don't see why it wouldn't be fine.

It's on the server somewhere, just sitting and waiting for you to be able to access it.

How in the hell can I look at rosters through the quick game menu (mind you these are all stored online), yet I can't access my MyGM mode (because I am checking for a internet connection)? 2K did an absolutely terrible job designing this game. Beyond pissed at this point.

Iove this game, when it works. Even with all the glitches and bull**** but this server **** that has been happening since god know how long, its starting to piss me off so bad that i seriously doubt that i will buy the next nba 2k. Im so fkkn done with this bs and then you look at twitter and they just send 100 ppl to a article about your nat type and stuff. Its insulting to be honest, its the fkkn servers dont blame us for your fkups 2k. Im done, just needed to rant somewhere sorry guys

I finally got to play 8 park games with my friends and we went undefeated but twice we got glitched into different games and had to leave the park and come back in. I just started playing myteam and can't even do anything with it, I purchased a pack of cards and then tried to play domination mode but it would get stuck when I tried playing the magic. I really wish these servers would work because this game is so fun when they do.
