Well, figured i'd test it. The account where I actually have my characters is stuck at "Checking Internet Connection" but, I hopped on my dad's account, created a 2k account and can play online and view NBA Today. Creating a new MyCareer there now with some of the free vc codes because I don't know how else to get on.

i wonder if all the people still playing either left their game or didnt make any saves/upgrades in VC modes



if anyone who is able to play can try to upload a custom roster (just like change someones position quick) and then download it and let me know if its 2k's or theirs id appreciate it

I can confirm that if you make a new PSN account it works fine. Accounts are probably corrupted.

Maybe this is the reason why it's taking so long, they realized that every account is corrupted and now they're either trying to find a way to bring them back, or they're trying to find a way how to publish the bad news.

On the other hand, only MyCareer and MyGm are not working, we can still earn VC, all my VC I had let from a purchase is still there too.

If anything happened to our savefiles, what kind of compensation would be satisfiying? Honestly, I don't want 10k VC for savegames in which I invested like 50k. But they can't give every player individual refunds. I think the Rockstar solution would be best. 500k VC for every MyPlayer who registered in december. This will still not give us our time back but it would make it easier to get back to where we were before 2K f***ed up.

can anyone find out if custom rosters are uploadable and able to be redownloaded without getting 2k's roster

as for save file corruption id want no less than 50k VC....i spent 30k alone on mycareer


im putting my money on their **** ****ed the bed and corrupted all accounts who tried doing something VC involved...ha look VC just screwed us again!

I've spent well over 100 hours in myteam. I don't know how to put a VC price on that but it's at least the cost of 20-30 gold packs.

Don't jump to conclusions. I played MyCareer fine on Friday night for 3-4 hours when many people couldn't play at all. I mean, it's possible all the saves are corrupt, but lets pray that doesn't happen or 2k is going to have some serious decisions to make in the next week or so.

Also, if all our files ARE corrupt, I'd expect no less than 500k in compensation. I doubt that will happen because it'd completely demolish their VC model, but I know for a fact I wouldn't be playing 2k anymore if I got anything less than that. Especially in MyCareer mode. I don't want to have to see all those cut scenes again and wait 50 games to finally start.

Yeah Rangers I am... It's ****ing stupid but at least I only put like 25k VC into my guy... Use the 5k and 3k codes and yo'ull start with 9k plus the 1k new acct bonus. at least you can play.
