No, and neither do NBA 2k games. I never said that. I said the cpu makes tough shots that are contested on HOF mode. So do great players in the NBA. I play on HOF mode and the cpu shoots around 46-50 % avg. a game. When I play great defense, that % goes down. Yes, they make some contested shots when I play great D too. They also miss more times than not on those contested shots. The thing you have to realize is the CPU and great NBA players are going to make difficult shots no matter what you do. It is part of the game.

In the OP's video, Allen is shooting an off balance/contested (heavily defended) three with his shoulders nowhere close to being squared. The infamous game 6 shot, Allen was able to nearly perfectly square his shoulders and feet before elevating. The only defense on the game six shot is Parker running "under" Allen attempting to get a hand up in time.Last edited by ourpurpose; 01-14-2014, 11:05 PM.Comment

Fair enough. Though I could argue under the circumstances that the game 6 shot was the tougher shot, especially considering he had to go backwards without stepping out of bounds and then get the shot up making sure he wasn't on the line with a running parker flying at him. Next time you are on a basketball court, trying replicating that shot in that corner area while you are going backwards. There is barely any room there. I am more impressed with that shot than the one in the 2k video. Let's not forget Ray Allen has made more 3 pters than anyone in history. Now, if theres a video showing the cpu making 50% on shots like that, then you could make an arguement. I just don't see that happening when I play HOF mode though.<iframe src="//www.youtube.com/embed/tr6XsZVb-ZE" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="560"></iframe>

ray allen makes his living off the catch and shoot 3ball especially when he is running off a screen or catching as he gets to his spot. he is almost always able to set his feet and rise straight up. in the ops video he was bodied up and shot an awkward turn around fadeaway (the hard way) and knocked it down.Fair enough. and even if we say the ray allen shot was legit what about the one from corey brewer? same nonsense except that he wasnt bodied up but it was still a fadeaway three from a not good three point shooter (29% career). playing at a hof level should mean playing smarter and harder (getting open shots making smart rotations etc.) not artificially becoming a better shooter and making impossible shots.Comment
