Know nothing of basketball but Ivr been watching chris smoove for a while and I'm so jealous of this franchise.

I'm a hockey fan and its night and day difference between NHL series and this.

Can you all adopt hockey and help push 2k in making a hockey franchise again?

I feel your pain brother, but right now the movement is to get 2K to make an NFL game again.

Hockey is gonna have to get in line.....(lol)

We didn't just pay $500 for a new console just for prettier graphics. Going forward I hope to see more shows such as halftime, post game, pre season, playoffs, finals and draft.

Above all, I want a 2k football game.. Wrong thread?

2k's presentation is incredible! The fact that you are spoiled by constantly experiencing new images and video and entertainment all over the internet shouldn't mask you from having realistic expectations in quality. But apparently it does.

You asking for 2k to step up it's game is selfish and wrong. I can understand you not wanting to see a Madden scenario of the same game being thrown out there w/ a couple new features every year but 2k jumped ahead so far in presentation and overall gameplay a couple years ago that i think if anyone deserves a pass it's them.

The Show and 2k are fantastic games and i will not critique them when every other studio and sporting franchise is so flawed.
Are you SERIOUS?!?!?! Now THAT is one of the dumbest things I've read on here in a while. It's "selfish" and "wrong" to expect a company to improve? Do you know what any of those words mean? Because I can barely put into words how wrong your post is. Just because other games aren't as good in some aspects then you're saying 2k shouldn't improve, and everyone should just give them a trophy and pretend everything they did is 100% flawless. Companies would get NOWHERE if they followed your perspective. I guess LeBron doesn't need to step up his game because he's the best in the league at the moment. I guess the Ravens didn't need to step up their game this year since they were at the top last year. Oh, wait. They didn't even make the playoffs.

Posts like yours just boggle my mind how someone could possibly say that it's wrong to want to improve a product, and then to call the person "wrong" and "selfish" because they want improvements? I'd say your logic behind saying that 2k deserves no criticism because EA has struggled is flawed, but that'd be giving your post too much credit, because there's clearly no logic involved.

Someone posted this earlier, how much manpower is going to be used for presentation if you watch it once or twice then just button click through it the next 6 months.

My favorite part of the playoffs is the "40 Games in 40 Nights" / "Inside the NBA" presentation on TNT...

It would be cool if some of THAT kind of thing ("Gone Fishin' for instance) was implemented in the 2k playoffs, to help differentiate the look and feel of that versus the regular season...

There's like 20 gb of commentary in NBA 2K. One team.

                      Next idea?

if they focus more on seamless play-by-play and less on back stories. then it would actually feel like the commentators are talking about the game and could react appropriately to whats happening. the way it is now they occasionally comment on something thats happening on the court but mostly talk about different stories. thats why it gets stale.

I still say they should hire some professional sounding guys to do commentary for NBA 2k...

You would be paying these guys significantly less than Harlan, Kellogg, Kerr....and they would always be available so you could truly add more commentary throughout the season without having to wait on these network guys schedule..

With that said I still think 2k’s commentary is the best amongst sports games….but I really feel that would take it to new heights..

I like the back stories. Gives it a real feel.
