Wow. They have to correct something for a patch that is "correcting" a broken game. They had how long to develope the game? It's like Microsoft and Sony gave them the specs for the systems 2 days before release and it was a mad scramble. I hate to be this way but this is absolutely ridiculous.

They're talking about correcting the post with the right date, not changing the patch.

I doubt that's what you were saying at all. If the patch isn't released by Friday then you'd have a justification to bitch and moan, however, any date before that still falls in line with the 10-14 verification phase for patches.

Hoping this patch works as intended, so frustrating to have to use the contract work around when attempting to negotiate with free agents, and it usually fails because of the various contract types and how much you can or cannot offer over the lfetime of the contract.

Honestly, this will be traded in for the Show if it keeps it up, I'm having more than enough fun with FIFA to hold off my sport needs until the show comes out. This game is so frustrating, it has so much potential, but it's like it wants to keep knocking itself down just when you start to enjoy it.

Does anyone know the answer to this? With no free agency after the initial 2 year contract, what happens in MP?

Your contract stays at 2 yrs worth 0 VC. You keep playing with the team you're with currently with no Free Agency at all.

What is the contract work around? I have been toying with it but the only FA's I've been able to sign are the low overall guys who don't bother trying to negotiate a better deal.

Your choices are either

A) Rotate the left stick while pointing it downwards and occasionally when it shifts through the various options (contract, walk away or the pitches) it'll sometimes land on the money value and you can change that (and only that)

or

B) Give the default offer, as soon as the player rejects it [once their text bubble pops up saying 'thats not close'], before pressing 'X', hold 'down' on the 'd-pad', than press X, you should be at the bottom of the list of options (the player role), you can only move up so make sure the setting is where you want it before moving up.

Either way, it isn't worthwhile to do. If you pick the wrong kind of contract (front/balanced/back loaded) you'll have to go through the whole ordeal all over again.

As far I know, you still can't. I'm really waiting on this too, was pretty much a game-killer for me along with the broken play-calling in MyCareer.

seriously ... sony and MS seemingly rush to market these next gen consoles (based on the mess a lot of these games launched in) ... shouldn't there be a race to be the most responsive with patches, additional content, etc? with MS clearing the patch like a week ago, this is a bad look for sony. and honestly, there are a couple dozen titles available for ps4. i don't imagine there's some sort of coagulated backup of patches coming down the pipe. i know battlefield 4 just put out a patch today. maybe that backed sony up?

It seems its pretty obvious there was a problem with the PS4 patch. It's been 1 week since XboxOne got their patch. I guess someone wants to keep things hush hush since there was no official announcement of the PS4 delayed patch.

My guess is that when the patches were released to MS and Sony....there was some sort of issue found on the Sony/PS4 side of this patch which has caused this 1 week delay compared to the X1 patch. It's not rocket science..some of us are not "oblivious" as it may seem..cough cough

it would behoove sony to be transparent about any such snags, otherwise we're left to speculate and assume they're messing up. on the other hand, perhaps sony isn't likely to specifically comment on such matters, thus by saying nothing, 2k can let it seem like sony is delaying it when really it was a mess-up on 2k's part.

speculation aside ... gimme the patch, dammit!
