I use an all Legends/Superstar team and I still have to use subs! Yeah sure I could get away with playing them 90% of the time. But they get tired and then make mistakes. These are mistakes I cannot afford to make in the 2 seed. So what your opponent is doing is really stupid.

I've always used a 7-8 man rotation, which most NBA squads generally use, for online games. Mainly because I like to give different looks and it helps keep players out of cold streaks.

So because people have to play a set amount of minutes per quarter ,we should alter every rule in basketball just to accommodate that?

Nope. It's called scaling the game to match real life. If it was up to me, players would foul out after their fourth foul.
