NBA 2k14 MyCAREER Stat Caps: Every Position, Every Play Style

    NBA 2k14 MyCAREER Stat Caps

So I've compiled a list of the starting stats and stat caps for each position and each play style within that position. I know it's been out for a while, I just never got around to completing this. But it's finished now. Hopefully it helps some people looking to jump into MyCAREER or who are starting a new one.

A quick explanation: Cells with yellow fill are tied amongst play styles, cells with green fill are the max out of every play style. It's easy to see on the spreadsheet. I summarize the yellow and green fill cells at the bottom of the spreadsheet. Also, 'A' is the starting attribute, and 'B' is the attribute cap.

I've listed the heights and weights I personally used to pull these stats, but I'm 99.99% sure that neither height nor weight affect your starting or maximum attributes. I also didn't take into account any items that boost your stats (sleeves, braces/pads, etc.). So, theoretically, you're able to go even higher in some categories.

One last thing: I've given you almost all of the information you need to make the decision about what play style is best, based on stats. Each person plays 2k differently, so each play style is going to fit a specific person differently. No one can make that decision but you, based on what stats you feel are important and how you play the game.

Anyways, hope it helps. Let me know if I missed anything!

Awesome, I've been waiting for someone to do this. Thank you very much sir. The only problem is that your Zoho Docs link doesn't allow access. I'd love to take a look at these.

My bad, it should be public now.

I'm working on a Google Sheets version of this document (aka a version similar to RipCity's Signature Style Edits). I'll update the original post when I finish it, but it'll probably be a few days (I have to redo all of the formatting).

            This is awesome.

My Athletic SF is 6'10", 260lbs and his stats still match up to yours. So, they should be the same regardless of height & weight.

This is incorrect for the athletic centers at the very least. I haven't checked out any others. I wish there was a Center with 80 speed 75 quickness and an 80 vertical.

                U know I love u right?

Man make sure you get one of these list out ASAP for 2k15, I've been looking all over the web for this.

Thanks for putting in the work too, with the commentary that you can't skip, I imagine this took a long time, I started one and just got through 4 playstyles on the SF and was like **** that.

                thanks for your patience
