If there was a 'meh' option, I'd go with that. It could be better, it could have been worse (see NBA Live 14)

Some features like the gameplay itself are at the best they have ever been for a basketball game. I have seen no semblance of pure cheese as of yet. The graphics are some of the best seen in a video game. The presentation hasn't changed much but it does the job for the most part.

However things like DRM, no HDD saves, the cut down features (No Create-A-Player, Create-A-Team, practice types gone, No proper Association customization etc.) Horrible menu navigation and aesthetics, Glitches and bugs in MyCareer and MyGM pretty much ruin what could have been the best sports game of all time.

I'd give it a 6/10, because some modes got a bit more replay value post patch, but many of the things that they cannot necessarily patch in (or are not willing to) just anchor this rating down even further.

This is exactly how I feel and I pray the next version has what's been left out in current one. I was so looking forward to Create-A-Player, could have been awesome to play with.

2K is going to Madden their way through the next years and just use the same recycled garbage every year from now on. That's what I got out of this game anyway.

You were tasked to control one team, that is what this mode is about. Once you give someone your little cheating power, the entire mode breaks and no longer makes sense.

You can easily do your little nonsense in quick game mode, but it doesn't make sense in mygm.

Who cares? If players want to "cheat" in their OWN MyGM games, why shouldn't they be able to? It doesn't effect you or anyone else.

I'd give the game a 7/10

Great graphics, but the only downside is that some players or especially teams as a whole look incredible, other teams don't look as good. The celtics for example, none of their players look 100% like the real life version, but pretty much everyone on the heat is perfect

Maybe it's because I play as Boston, who don't have a great big man defender, but I feel the computer still scores too easily in the paint. Computer will also make the finger roll layup an extremely high percent of the time (> 90%)

Computer runs more variety of plays than before, and is more realistic overall than ever.

Audio glitches on ps4 are annoying. Also dislike how the game requires you to be online to save offline game modes.

I don't mind MyGM, but some of the moves are bizarre. Kobe joined the heat, became their starting PG with Wade as SG. Lebron and Bosh opted out and both joined the Lakers.

This game is a waste of everyone's time. Well done 2K, you took a great product, completely sucked out everything that was good about it and called it a day. That's what next-gen is for Visual Concepts.

They should have removed all game modes and focus on the gameplay. The modes are bug ridden and online is still problematic. The core game is fantastic and looks like a real bball game, but they clearly rushed it out the door. 9 out of 10 for gameplay. Online stuff. 5 out of 10. Good idea, remove everything period, it was all horrible, everything, worst game of all time, I want my $ back, waaaaah, injuries have no place in a video game

I completely agree, they made no improvements and failed to add any new modes in this one, the park, mygm, my team, those don't even exist in my world, all I see is vc, and I don't want vc, I know I can play without having to purchase it, but the fact it's in there makes me go :banghead:

Yea I know man, it's dat VC that's causing it. It's all a plot, they removed 30 team control in order to make room for more vc. They think I don't know, but I got two eyes, and I can see what they are doing. I won't stand for it any longer, boycott 2k until they refund all the vc they have received or I won't buy 2k35

Sorry but your jokes are not really landing. VC and MyGM are the least of this game's problems. VC has been in the game for years, it's not a new issue. MyGM is actually probably the only functional game mode, though only after they patched it.
