I've played metal gear since metal gear solid on ps1, i'd say metal gear fans in general seem a lot more happy than a lot of 2k fans i see, so yeah lmao.

And that's not true either, I mentioned Last of Us and Outlast, as just a few examples. Again, having that many unhappy fans is NOT the norm.

Outlast and The Last of Us are first iterations...what would fans be upset about? Lol

and if you found a lot of happy fans with MGS5, the worst selling MG game in history...then that's cool, they forgot to speak with their wallet though...

I've played since the first too..and a good bit of folks are worried about the direction of the series after revengance and the money grab that is 5...but hey, maybe we visit two different forums...

So when the new emerald player packs drop in 48 hours according to twitter does that mean the patch will come or is it 2 different subjects???

There are no 'big issues' remaining in 2K14. Just subjective things people wish would change that other people wish would stay the same. Those are two very different things.

I don't believe anyone wishes the fact that there is no chance for free agency in mycareer as an issue that would stay the same.

I'd say there are still 'big issues'....maybe not in any of the modes you play, but there are still some.

This update is supposed to be adding shoes, correct? Is this the first new shoe addition to XBOX One or have I just not gotten any new shoe updates somehow? Still have all of the same shoes since the release, only update I received was when they added the Adidas Crazy 1's for a couple of days and then took them off because the image on the shoe base was twisted around like the Jordan 2012 is.

Dude. What do you want them to tell you? They're guess is as good as yours. The patch is in the hands of Sony and Microsoft now. There's nothing for Ronnie to tell you.

This is like taking someone's car to the shop for them and then having them bugging you to death about when the car will be ready after you've relayed from the shop to them that it'll be a few days. You don't know at that point, whenever the shop calls you and tells you it's ready.

Umm no, that's not what's it's like. To put it more accurately, it's like a car shop telling you they'll be done with a routine installation in 3-4 days and 5 days later they havent called to tell you they've been waiting on a part since the 2nd day. Then saying, "When we know something, we'll tell you" which is essentially "dont ask me, I'll come tell you" THAT'S what it's like. You have twitter accounts for a reason, and while you're tweeting about MyTeam for hours a day, tell me why the patch that YOU said would come within 10-14 days hasnt arrived in 16. It's not a big deal, but again, the tightness of the lips regarding ANY info that isnt MyTeam is annoying.

The public relations department for this franchise is just jaw droppingly bad.

No one expected a 5th patch. If it drops one day unexpectedly and they throw in a few shoes, maybe fix a bug or two, and the boys at 2K are heroes for a day.

But that's not the 2K way. Instead they give a vague announcement on delivering a patch who's release they apparently have no control over. This leads to completely unrealistic expectations, speculation, and then anger when they miss the deadline they put out.

Rinse and repeat.

1. That's EXACTLY what happened, just because you found a comment of some random guy (talking about nothing) changes nothing.
2. You cant use other folks comments in place of what I'm saying try make that my stance, then try to play semantics in regards to 14th or 15th day. You hold the position of such a weak stance that traffics on establishing arguments on inconsequential details that are holy irrelevant.

BOTTOMLINE; They should keep people more informed. Period. The hangup that Ronnie said today didnt just happen in the last 24 hours, it's been known and ppl have been asking once we got past the 10th day, AGAIN a timeline THEY gave. Why are we just finding out about it a day AFTER the given timeline? Dont give me a timeline, then when you're past it, dont have some answers ready. Or you know... do what you've done all year practically and be tight lipped on info and act as if nobody is asking you while flooding your twitter with Diamond whoever.

If you think that's fine, cool, I dont and Im aloud to think that. And btw, the comment you inserted didnt ask about the patch, it didnt even question about the deadlines they gave. It's not at all germane to our discussion.

An update saying that it's not out yet. I don't think we needed anyone to tell us that.

It would be nice if they would release the notes on what it actually being addressed in the patch. If something has to be changed later on then they can tell us when they find out. But I would like to know if I should put the game on hold and wait, or if I should not bother since none of my issues will be addressed anyway.

I've been on these boards just as long and yes, the same song with one difference...VCs.

2K is on the hook. When you ask people spend money, you support or loose your customers. If 2k left the pay-2-play model alone, I would not care... as much.
Do they expect people to reset the VCs next year? What if Sony or Microsoft discarded their virtual currency when a new console was released. Oh wait Microsoft converted to cash.

2k must support what they have released. I don't even know what that means. Maybe this is a bad thing... We will see..
