Re: Ways to make MyGM enjoyable
What's wrong with the VC system? If it was too easy to obtain people would be complaining the game is too easy as they'd easily be able to level up everything.
It's fine as it is. You get VC for playing, you can get 1500VC minimum a day from the NBA2K14 app.
The idea is the mode is supposed to be a challenge and you have to earn VC. Otherwise you may as well just play on Rookie.
I imagine people complaining about this are the people who play with The Heat as they just want instant success.Comment

Re: Ways to make MyGM enjoyable
I dont know if anybody still cares or not. But this game sucks (by 2k standards) but i still find myself only playing this game. mainly because i found a dope way to play mygm.
basically i edit a particular draft class. essentially finding all the normal looking guys in this hideous selection, then editing so they'd be the best in the rookie class. you can do however many you want. i personally do like 4 or 5 every time. outta those prospects that i create, i choose one who's career i'd like to follow. most likely i'd change his name to mine and give him all the attributes i'd want. essentially creating a player. i try not to make him too good as a rookie cuz 2k's progression system is kinda cool to me, for the most part.
then i basically start a mygm with whatever team i want. and figure out a way to draft my guy. most of the time if i dont get him, i just trade for him. i like the editing process, so its nothing for me to quit after a season or even in the middle of a season just to pick another team or create a different type of prospect. only reason i mention that tho is because if you start over, the upgrades you spend vc on, never go away. so by the time you finally get a team you're satisfied with, you should have most of them unlocked.
but thats just me tho....lolComment
