It says major graphics leap which in my opinion is the last thing NBA 2K15 needs, it needs a major leap in all of the other areas.

At this point, I'll believe it when I see it. 2K has a great marketing team, I'd like to see them deliver on some of this said "epic greatness" stuff

and the graphics from 2K14 were amazing to begin with, next gen wise.

Im just trying to picture how crazy this game is going to look if he says, "the amount of work they're doing over at VC, this game will be that much better graphically."

Yeah the game will provide eye candy, but those same terrible canimations will still exist from 2K9

        we shall see at E3

I don't trust alot the hip hop gamer has to say. He's been wrong on multiple occasions, especially regarding NBA Live.

Funny thing is...I was told the exact same thing this time last year. Going the graphic route is not the road they should be travelling down just sayin

YES!!! Even better graphic next year and even worse gameplay (if that's possible). They have so many other things that need improvement but yet they waste their time with graphics. Yup, sounds exactly like something 2k would do.

Just remember this guy does not work for 2k or 2k marketing. This is his opinion on what 2k is doing with his software.

No idea why graphics artists and devs are always lumped together. Why can't we have both?

I find it funny is how people are overreacting to the news (if you can even call it that) of graphics being the main focus for the dev team. Must be that time of year already....

I don't care what they do graphics wise........if they tie everything to their servers again and I'm not allowed to save my rosters and draft classes to my system hard drive, then I ain't buying.

These are the same people who "have been fans since Dreamcast" too

How is this not known by now?

This dude again? It's gotten to the point I don't even care if HipHop Gamer is interviewing legit industry people, I can't take him seriously and feel like they'll probably tell him anything to watch him act like a clown then laugh about it while they're working with the guys in the office later. I wish it were apart of the TOS that no one posted anything relating to him.

Re: NBA 2k15 to use FACEWARE

2K has been using faceware tech since 2k10, so this is nothing new.

Disclaimer; I only watched about 3 minutes worth since its HHG.

Graphics will always get better as its what people see, and that is what you can market. Gameplay is not marketable if the game doesn't look good to the avg person... uh.. i mean consumer. If anything this just means either a) more face scans b) higher res face scans c) both

Anyways here is a pic for WWE2K15 (Justin Gabriel) showing the cameras for the face scanning.

Faceware provides an entire Professional Facial Motion Capture Product Line, which is a start-to-finish facial mocap tool suite built to capture, analyze and transfer human emotion into digital facial performances...The product line is now being used in everything from mobile games, such as Camouflaj’s Republique, to AAA video game titles, such as Grand Theft Auto III-V, NBA 2K10-2K14, Crysis 2 and 3, Halo: Reach, and now, Bungie’s Destiny.
                              http://facewaretech.com/bungies-destiny-use-faceware/

Note: not sure if that cam setup is faceware tech or not.
