Draft issue in MyGM

I read once in the forum that the draft order is altered if you choose your favorite team(picked when you first play 2K14) in MyGM. Everytime I start a MyGM file with the Orlando Magic the top picks in the draft end up as late first round picks.

Is there anyway to fix this?

I would say go into options and change your favorite team to something else and restart.

This makes sense, it has only happened to me in my Cavs MyGM. Parker and Wiggins both came to me in the mod first round. Didn't happen with any other ones.

I changed my favorite team to the Bobcats, started a new MyGM with the magic and it didn't work. :s
