Mygm has 30 teams doesn't it? You should be able to control only one since your created player is the gm

Yes, I know, that's why I'm asking. I'm hoping they changed it this year and if anyone's heard about it.

...and this is the problem in microcosm.

There is a large majority that does not want to be told how we "should" be playing the game.

I get it, some people like a linear, RPG, style of game...its great that they got that in MyPlayer. VC is the only reason 2K insists on taking away administrative control, editing options and user freedom across the board.

What they're putting out today is contrary to how they built their brand and contrary to what the majority of their buyers want....which as much user control as possible.

I hope I'm wrong, but I predict they'll avoid answering the question of 30 team control and we'll find out when someone gets an early copy.

When playing MyGM and only being able to control one team, can you at least pick the other team's jersey before the game?

Just bring back association as well for us simheads. So much more control but if it leaves out all the flash so be it. I'm sorry but I want to be able to edit ratings, tendencies inside my season and I want to play multiple seasons so "season mode" is just not worth it.

I also will admit I have never played an 82 game season before. I always do 29 to be honest. And truthfully, how many casual gamers have done a full season on mygm or association? I couldnt get into managing EVERY aspect of every team but I would always resign as gm and pick the other team if I thought a trade was necessary(ex. a team stacked at one position but depleted at another or a superstar on a team full of scrubs that might force his way out).

I think a lot of us wanted to see association expanded on in a big way but it seems as if they have went backwards with MyGm.

It's honestly all i care about at this point.. I will be quitting MyTeam if they continue with their Free to Play model and probably won't buy the game if there's no association mode. MyCareer is fun, but that alone isn't gonna cut it for me.

I'd love to be able have 30 team control for reasons like FA. I'd love to be able to make a logical trade for two teams or control the Knicks and resign Carmelo or resign LeBron with the Cavs. Stuff like that would definitely add another aspect of the game for me.
