alley oop success logic needs reworking !

This is something that drastically needs to be reworked for 2k15. The success rate needs to be more dependent on the hands /vertical of the receiver and their need to be a higher fail rate when throwing alleys into the crowded paint. A good example of how it needs to be reworked is park mode. Park mode is clearly set for casual arcade play style but this also transitions into regular games on higher difficulties.

Something I see and smh at is when I can go on a fast break and can throw a alley opp while running away from the rim while at the 3pt Line with my players back turned. This should be unsucessful a majority of the time . another is the extreme success of half court alleyoops while the defense is clearly in the receivers path. In 2k11 this would result in a turnover instead of 2 defenders getting dunked on. Now its a highlight even when its done by accident.

I hope 2k has addressed this for 15

What they should do is increase the success rate of the alley oop in direct proportion to how well you have the ball handler covered (joking) lol.

They need to tone down dunking in general, especially in traffic. Blake Griffin probably has 10 dunks in traffic a year, 2K makes it seem like every game there's a Sportscenter Top 10 #1 play.

        Pressure sensitive alley-oop pass

Not happening though sadly. Too much stuff is tendency based in this game. Takes away a lot from the excitement of playing it and getting better.

Highlight reel dunks is a major selling point of this game, sadly. If guys weren't able to pull off posterizing dunks 4 times a game, they'd be pissed.

We need a better, more intuitive ways to combat alley oops too.

Which is true in a sense, but moreso for the casual gamer... Kobe should not to be flying into the lane windmilling... I immediately yell out in a party, "that ish is sooo fake", even if it was me. If there were only 10 posterizing dunk animations in this game, that maybe triggered about 20% of the time, that wouldn't keep me from buying the game. But if LeBron goes up for a 360 double pump in traffic and dunks of that caliber were triggered like twice a game, that'd definitely keep me from buying the game. Those things weren't in the game when 2K was at its peak from 2K7 - 2K11...
