Deffensive Settings: Bring the old system back where you could set strategies for each player via coaching settings. The POE was not specific enough.

Yes, that's a must. Also, I don't know if it's on NG/CG, they need to bring back being able to choose the player you'd like come for the double team. 7/10, the C or PF would try to double someone all the way at the top of the key and leave their assignment right under the rim. Super annoying when you press double and you're not 100% sure who is going to double.

Also, for the post game, bring back being able to hold the ball over your head. This will combat people from spamming the steal when in the post. I've asked Ronnie was this in before 2K11 came out and he told me "Yes" via email. I forgot which 2K it was in, I want to say, 2K8 or 2K9, but it has been gone ever since.

Again, I don't know if X1/PS4 still has this, but if it's still in, lower the frequency of the animation when you get someone to leave their feet and they crash into you. A lot of times it hurts the offensive player because instead of getting a opening, the defense gets a bailout blocking call. This happens too much for me.

Let us draw fouls ala 2K11 when someone leaves their feet.

I agree fully with quehouston. I wish 2K would be sim/realistic (again) and become even more realistic. I've been playing 2K11 again and I love it. The should have used this version and improved it. I would love to become an underrated rookie. Or even be a 2nd round pick, get waived by the team and sign a big contract when I prove everyone wrong and that I belong. Storylines like those. Make MyCareer interesting again.

Star players should NEVER sign with small market teams, EVER. I don't know why this always happens. Just because a team has money doesn't automatically mean they should attract big FAs.

9/10 GM's agree that lebron and melo shall only sign in detroit, orlando, philly, or phoenix.

the 10th GM is laughing as the other 9 are playing 2k..


i kind of purposely try to give orlando bad conracts so lebron cant sign there.. its my biggest issue with myGM/association other than the absurd trades

Bring back the full practice mode. Practice plays, Free Throw, Post game. Its a must. Also give us our leagues back. Leagues have been broken for the last two years. I have not completed a season yet in two years.

A separate Association mode is pretty much the only way I'm coming back to 2K. And allowing us to have CPU vs CPU in Association as well.

I'd like to see dunking toned wayyyy down. It's frustrating when I beat a guy to a spot just to get caught in a animation and put on poster. At least give the defender a chance to counter it. Also, I feel like a player should lose handle of the ball when they're just wiggling the stick back and forth.

- Footplanting, contact between players and AI behavior in offense and defense needs to be improved.
- Online Association with sliders, custom length quarters, open schedules, and all the max. admin options is a must for a lot of non-casual players.
- IMO, the whole gameplay needs to be refactored, at least in a mode for sim users: the user has to run some kind of plays or strategy in offense and defense in order to be succesful. Playing a basketball game like a chicken without head has to be punished/not rewarded . So, in every offensive/defensive possession make available to the user by default in the gui the options to run a play/defense in some kind of way, etc, "a la" madden - more or less -. Playing off vs def needs to be/feel like a chess match - introduction of minigames in the execution of the plays in off/def would help in this (how to make/defend the pick and roll while is being executed, etc) -. It is the future of basketball games,

• Bring back Association as a separate mode from MyGM

• Tone down VC. Obviously, VC is here to stay, but at least take it out of offline modes. I understand having it in MyTEAM, but you shouldn’t need to use it in modes like MyCAREER or MyGM.

• Fix the damn gameplay. This is the most important thing, and the biggest problem in 2K14. If 2K15 had realistic basketball with proper rebounding, better AI, fixed passing and no zig-zag cheese, it would go a long way.

• The servers are terrible, and have been terrible for years. I’ve never played a game with such **** servers. Fix it 2K.

• Free Agency logic needs to be fixed. If I’m the 76ers, I shouldn’t be able to sign guys like LeBron, Melo or Kobe. Most of the time, they end up signing for small market teams that they’d never sign for in real-life and it’s annoying.

• Last but not least, listen to the community. For years, people have asked for the return of My Crew (not the watered-down crap we got with Crews), and yet we keep getting these modes that we don’t ask for or care for like The Park, MyGM replacing The Association, Crews etc.

Bring back the old association mode, while keeping MY GM separate.

Old association mode gave us an option for turning off "Computer trading", this prevented extremely weird scenarios from occurring, hint: it kept the NBA 2k experience REALISTIC.

We had more user controlled teams, the most was 8, but eventually NBA 2k last gen gave us full 30 team control. This kept everything real, rotations, signings, trades etc.

Also, would it hurt to have a tournament mode? Maybe a playoff mode for nba teams and tournament mode for European teams? With more than ONE user controlled team lol

ESPN: Why spend more time developing Dynamic Season mode as opposed to upgrading the game's Dynasty mode? Is there more demand from gamers to play along with the real season as opposed to creating their own season from scratch?

Garreth Reeder: Last year, Dynamic DNA was a big feature for us with all of the daily rosters and stats, but people told us, while they loved getting all of the updates and all of the changes, they didn't have any way to actually play with it other than a Play Now game or a Quick game. We had a lot of guys saying that they wished EA could merge Dynasty mode with DNA and the daily roster updates. So from the beginning of the year, we had a real desire to deliver a mode that really ties you into what's happening every day in the real NBA season. We're really looking at it as something for the fan of "NBA Live" who is just such a big fan of the NBA that following the games, following their favorite teams in real life isn't enough. This mode gives them a way to play along with real life and change what they want to change with the season.


This actually put a user controlled team in a REAL nba season. Everything that happened in reality, happened around you. If Kevin Love grabbed 30 rebounds, you would see it in you're season. However, you were given user control to control your teams destiny! Real trades occurred, real injuries, real STATS, real standings. It was amazing...

NBA 2k last gen tried this, however the mode was need UP to date, you'd have to quit and start a new one to be up to date everytime... Which is whack.
