Sliders help definitely, but they don't fix everything. They just make it slightly better, band aid fix. Some issues just come down to how the game is programed and no amount of sliders will fix that(canned animations, passing, rebounding, etc)
Improvements for 2k15 , confirmed ?

the biggest improvement they can make is to remove letter grades for shot success. Make people use practice mode to learn players instead of waiting for letter to show up on the screen. this. All of the crying from people that's a because I have an A plus on the screen the shot should always go in. These people don't even consider the players ratings or consistency rating#SIMNATION

If you're talking about offline play against the CPU, the correct slider set will fix all of these problems. The one I'm currently working on is specifically focusing on these issues, and I'm sure other slider sets have done the same.
The game has it's flaws, sure, but this is honestly the LEAST "unfixable" iteration of 2k in the last few years IMO.
Yeah but I mostly only play MyCareer and occasionally quick games (with custom settings)
I don't really have any interest in association mode anymore like I used too and online has been horrible ever since they changed the rating system in 2k12 and made players have 90 med, 87 3pt etc. the signature skills additions worsened this making guys like J Crawford demigods online
And having played the base 2k AI for hours in mycareer at HOF and Superstar, the glaring problems of the game are ubiquitous throughout games. The fact that having an enjoyable experience is limited to certain modes and situations (and have been for years) speaks too the state 2k is in and why I don't think 2k15 will be a 180 of the past few titles (especially given how mum they are about gameplay fixes)
Look at NBA2k11 and how many dev diaries and commentary they had prior to the game release about how improved it was on the gameplay side and it's no surprise it's people's go-to as the best 2k gameComment
