His sophomore year the Gators stumbled to a loss in the round of 64. A season of turmoil and tension in the Gators locker room culminated in Landry being involved in an altercation with players and coaches that ended with what was described as "a violent shove" directed at an assistant coach. The NCAA came down hard on Landry suspending him from his junior and senior years of basketball. After the suspension Landry moved home to attend East Tennessee State University and went on to finish his degree and reform his life. Now Landry has decided to return to the national sports scene declaring for the NBA draft and is now projected to be a top 5 pick
