this would never happen.

you ask why? Because that would mean that the devs actually read our posts and would actually give myplayer/crew LIFE again.Thats whats really missing in crew. Aside from leaderboards, if there was something worth playing for.
Bragging rights, so to speak, dare i say a 2k version of the Larry O'Brien Trophy, then maybe casuals(i say casuals, because every crew head knows that only hardcore simplayers run in crew 100% Facts)would be more inclined to give crew mode a chance. I mean theres only but so much anyone can play offline, or play pokemon, i mean Myteam.

Clap, i think its a good idea, one i've championed for a few years now on OS threads, but seems to fall on deaf ears. Who knows, with this whole
"YOUR TIME HAS COME" campaign, we might just get what we crew heads have been asking for.

as far as story mode goes, i think its staying, probably not the exact same but something along the same lines

Yes, seasons or tournaments integrated into the mode itself would really make a very competitive mode even more competitive.
And that's a good thing, it's what makes people wanna come back for more.

I agree Clappington. Makes a lot of sense. Should certainly be a new mode implemented like crew that people want. Everyone wants it. If they hold out on us, I really believe that it's a huge mistake for the 2K brand. You want a POSITIVE approval rating. 2K's rating will go down significantly more than it already has after this mockery of a game they put out on next gen for 2K14..

I'm staying hopeful, LD2K keeps popping in saying we'll be happy with what they got in store...let's hope he's right.

well, i have faith that after reading what they did for offline association mode, that whatever it is that crew turns out to be, they will have our thoughts in mind. I feel like 2k has been working behind the scenes to give us the best possible game we can expect from them. Yall should check out that MYLeague thread...its pretty cool.

Whatever you do, don't mention crew or how happy these folks are about an offline mode, they'll scream for you to get banned.

So please fellas, be polite over there. Respect their thread.

Yea no lie 2k is def giving people what they want that hastag #yourtimehascome they are living up to it right now, hopefully they do it for us also.

But back to the topic, I think the mode they give us is going to be great I just have that gut feeling.

I been talking to my one friend about it (and he's the negative type when it comes to crew coming back) and even he's feeling positive.

I feel good too, I mean the past 4 years have been disappointing (speaking crew only) but 2K can still redeem themselves.

I honestly would be happy with what last gen got at this point lol

I'm sure Next-Gen will have a 5 on 5, hardwood, with refs game mode for online MyPlayers.

In that stream they said that PS3 and 360 would have the EXACT same crew mode as NBA2k11, which mean that Next Gen might have something different/better for it. I hope anyways.

And during the stream Ronnie said, "We have really been paying attention to the aspects that make this actual basketball." and, " When someone is sitting in the paint for 10 seconds, and no fouls are called...that's just not basketball."

These quotes make me almost assured some sort of 5 on 5 I mentioned above will be in for Next-Gen.

• 5v5
• .Refs
• 4 quarters
• Non-blacktop setting (so most likely in an arena)
• you playing the position (assuming means you pick the correct position)

Now me I'm thinking they are coming up with a new mode or some sort. What do you guys think it will be?

I'm pretty confident that we'll get all of those elements for next gens Crew, just as current gen did with the return of the 2k11 style of Crew mode.

After seeing that they returned the Real Crew mode on current gen that we have been asking for (not crews) and after reading all that they have done for MyLeague, its clear to me that this year the devs really get what we want out of the modes. They obviously have been listening to our feedback and now are delivering for us.

Now on to your question. I think they possibly might of added in some kind of ladder or seed system for next gen Crew. Similar to MyTeam, were your team advances on with each win and along the way you unlock or win certain items for your team.

In the future however, I would love to see them add the option to start seasons in a league against other crews with playoffs at the end. That would seem to me like the next natural step for this mode if they wanted to take things a step further and really make this mode that much more competitive and fun to play. I doubt that they added that in this year, but I would love to be proven wrong lol. If not, I hope they consider something like this for next year.

Oh yes I payed attention to every word they said, and that did make me wonder when last gen got the same form of 2k11 crew and honestly only info that would be new on there right now is just you can use legend teams. So im thinking we are getting something bigger than that. This is the year 2k makes everyone happy from every aspect.

The park is confirmed so im sure it will be to 21 so you should most def be happy.

I like the park somewhat when you have ppl who pass but I like a simulation style play and I would like something more than just the Park but I know 2k wont disappoint they will come through this year most def.

I'm pretty interested to see what this create a player system looks like now...

Is it like last gen where you could sculpt a face? Or is it like EA UFC where you like pick a head shape, then add hair/eyebrows/facial hair/skin color etc?

I think since 2K has WWE now their customization should be better, I really hope they got better hair lol...and some tattoo sleeves would be cool.
