Re: NBA 2K15 MyLEAGUE Interview
I'm glad they finally put in some effort towards the association stuff. Stopped playing around 2K10 but I guess maybe they had more time or just better hardware to implement these things we been wanting.
Definitely happy with what they've shown so far, hopefully they got some good MyCareer and online MyCareer stuff and this could be a perfect game..assuming gameplay's been touched upon.I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.

Re: NBA 2K15 MyLEAGUE Interview
I've been on record for quite awhile that I wouldn't purchase 2K15, but I must say, this is a big step in the right direction (for ME). I think we should temper our excitement though, as as good as it reads, things still have a funny way of getting funky once you get your hands on it.
And of course, if everything listed works perfectly, it won't mean jack if the GAMEPLAY doesn't reciprocate. That said, I'm quite pleased by what I read here, and am hoping that the on-court portion of the game is up to par. If so? Well, we as a people ARE entitled to change our minds yes?Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 MyLEAGUE Interview
Another little thing that I know you guys have been asking for...
Any user-controlled teams will NOT have their minutes reset going into MyLEAGUE. So if you've downloaded or created a custom roster that has rotations set-up a certain way, those will remain as-is going into the mode if you select that team as user-controlled at the start of the mode.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 MyLEAGUE Interview
It wasn't totally clear, but hopefully this addresses some of my biggest gripes with the series:
- Injuries affecting rotations. The logic has been terrible in Association mode when a player gets hurt with an injury that they can play through but they are automatically sent to the reserve list and don't play, or are reduced to a meaningless 5-8 minutes per game at the bottom of the rotation. This is beyond frustrating especially in the playoffs. I did an association recently and in the ECF went to game 7 against Miami Heat and Dwyane Wade suffered a minor injury that put him at "hurt" status but he could have played through, instead he was designated to the reserve list and didn't play in game 7, it was very frustrating and cheapened the experience.
- Hopefully there is a way to designate 6th men to be just that, the 6th man and not in the starting lineup. When striving for realism it gets frustrating to play against the Spurs with Manu in the starting lineup, especially since he hasn't been a starter since what 2005?
- And finally, playoff rotations. AI logic should differentiate regular season lineups and playoff lineups. In the playoffs, generally the starters minutes increase, and the rotation shrinks from 10-12 guys to 8-10. It's annoying playing against scrubs for a few minutes during an important playoff game.
If those are addressed, I think this game will be damn near a 10/10. I'm super psyched for this mode! I know it says XB1/PS4 exclusive but I'm still holding out hope that the PC gamers get some love too!Student of the game. #Fundamentals

About time!!! Everything in this article has me excited... Looking forward to more....we held several meetings to discuss the future of the franchise. After going through those meetings, it became very clear that the vision I had for the game was different from where the leadership wanted to take it. I parted ways with EA shortly after...Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 MyLEAGUE Interview
Any word on if they added more detail to the cap rules, ie. cap holds, mmle, etc.?
I don't care about all the customization as some, but I did want more than mygm, and its great that they expanded it for those that do. Just hope the difficulty settings for trading and stuff works well and it becomes possible to tune it all to be realistic.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: NBA 2K15 MyLEAGUE Interview
Wow, 80 seasons! Not that I would ever come close to playing that many, but it will be neat to sim through 80 and see what transpires. It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.
